Lacking updates and inconsistent, unclear communication. Poor show of initiative with handling Estate. In prolonged cases, I do not feel prioritised.

Our father used the services of Ray Swift over 20 years ago. It was a great experience to again have RSM (Mona) assist with finalising our Dad’s Estate. Vivek Gupta was able to clearly explain the whole process of conveyancing as I was a first home buyer. In our first meeting, it was clear that he had read each term of the contract, addressed his concerns and was acting in my interest (as a solicitor should for their client). He was communicative - responsive to my emails and regularly kept me in the loop on progress of sale. The receptionist, Trish also responds to my phone calls politely and passes on my messages if Vivek is in a meeting or busy. Overall, easy to deal with and ensured a quick settlement. We placed the conveyancing of our property in Redhill in the hands of Ray Swift Moutrage & Associates on the recommendation of our real Estate agent. Our matter was handled very efficiently, promptly and with courtesy by Vivek Gupta the solicitor. We live in Sydney and had a few queries which were all clarified without any fuss avoiding frequent trips to Canberra. Vivek and his assistants were excellent in every way.

Unorganised, unprepared, unprofessional.When we came into Ray Swift Moutrage offices to discuss a purchase contract, they were completely unprepared, and they even admitted they haven’t really looked at the contract in detail after having the contract for over 2 weeks before our meeting. The fact we knew more about what was in the contract says a lot. After the meeting with Ray Swift Moutrage we were really disappointed with the services we received, so we engaged another solicitor. When we met with the new solicitor, they walked into our meeting completely prepared, knew the contract in depth, able to make all amended we requested, as well as finding other issues with the contact that required amendments. The fact they were actually acting in our best interest rather than tick and flick services provided by Ray Swift Moutrage. Would not recommend Ray Swift Moutrage!

My recent experience with Ray Swift Moutrage, has been one of utmost professionalism. I have had no difficulty either making contact with my solicitor or receiving return calls. The legal staff have always been patient and have taken time to answer any questions I had. I would also like to add that my needs have always been understood and met with compassion and generosity.
