Normally 30 to 40mm healthy green mat...I ended up with 7 sq that was boney dead thatch with no mat and after 4 weeks in the ground with lawn irrigation, fertilizing and some top dressing + rain...I'm now planting runners from my healthy lawn into it...Just beware...Check where the turf is coming from before ordering...Partly my fault...I was in a hurry...But when you can pick up a roll without using your arms to stop it from unrolling then leave it on the pallet cause once it's on the ground you own it and it's your problem...
