Buffalo ck ramp pretty good area to fish for a variety of species land based from tiny whiting to 120 plus Barramundi all catch and release though as it has a sewerage farm outlet upstream and there's no way I'd eat any from this area . Shortest distance to shoal bay of all our city ramps. Can sometimes be tricky on bigger tides with sideways current but generally fine for any sized boat for those crews with half an idea and a bit of skill. Occasionally there is sand on the ramp but ATM it is fine to use with a 2wd. Cameras on the carpark area too but it can be packed out in the build up when the barra are on at the rock and king ck.It also has good picnic areas and nice beach aswell as bird hide nearby on the cycling or walking tracks for those not headed down there fishing or crabbing.
