The Anchorage

I visited a month ago. My guest had the chicken schnitzel, it tasted tangy, no sauce! I had fish and chips PFD style, in a town on the sea you'd think for almost $30 you'd recieve fresh local fish but no. The chips on both plates were luke warm and inedible and the side salad served dry, no dressing.The house white wine was awful and bar staff had trouble making a lemon, lime and bitters with the second attempt worse than the first!The menu board listed specials that were not available yet were charged for by wait staff.The manager was busy making his parents comfortable in the Cafe, can't call it a restaurant. He appeared too busy schuffling magazines and newspapers with little to no regard for his struggling staff.I will never set foot inside this establishment again.

this place was great. funky but comfortable.
