Getting a motorbike and license has been on my bucketlist for over 20 years so I am proud of myself for finally getting to do this for myself. Our trainer Greg was patient, had a wealth of knowledge and real world experience to re-iterate the important aspects of being safe on two wheels. Greg was extremely patient and carried a happy disposition the whole time. If you're a First Nations Australian like me, wanting to get a bike and a license, make sure you call these mob first, they're so deadly!!

The guys here take there job very seriously and are great at it. You can tell they live their work.They are great at making all levels of rider down to the complete beginner comfortable and manage to teach to reach persons level while teaching groups.Highly recommend this place if you want to learn to ride. Even if you just want some thing different to do for the day. You might find it better than getting to the shops eg.

Simply fantastic! I was a bit nervous prior to beginning the day with Q-Ride to progress to my RE Open license, but as soon as I met the instructor, Troy, that was quickly squashed. Troy delivered the training and assessments like a true pro. Troy was well was patient, firm and fair with each module and coached us through each section as you would expect any expert to. We were given a ample time to familiarize ourselves with the provided bikes and get comfortable maneuvering through each course. A great experience and day overall, zero complaints. All the 5* reviews make sense and now I too highly recommend Q-Ride and Troy to anyone thinking of upskilling and becoming a licensed rider.

I completed my pre learners here and I can say my whole experience was absolutely fantastic.Even from the beginning when I called Marnie because I am a shorter rider (about 5ft), I was nervous about being able to reach the ground and hold myself up but she was super helpful and encouraging that I felt very comfortable to go ahead with it. They accommodated my height by having me use a smaller bike to complete the course and it was great.I also have had no manual experience before, never sat on a motorcycle before, and although there was a lot to take in, I feel like the instructors put their all into helping you succeed.Over the two days I had instructors Greg and Jesse, and they were so friendly, supportive, and explained things really well. I didn’t feel rushed or pressured into getting things right which was reassuring and as Jesse said “don’t rush you have your whole life to ride”.Big thanks to the whole team, was a really fun and enjoyable experience and would definitely recommend to others thinking of taking their pre learners as well.

Cannot say enough good things about the team. Marnie went above and beyond to help me book a lesson and Doug is a true professional. Patient, explained everything well. I could not have had a better experience. Exceptional all around. Will be booking in for my test with these guys. Not one part of the experience that I could fault in the slightest. Well done to the team and this is how it should be done.Update: Just completed my test at the Brookside training centre, everything I said before is spot on. I was recommended this company by a friend who did their RE here. I had a great experience with the pre-learner course, so I finished RE and R course all through them with different instructors each stage and they were all excellent. Well structured and organised lessons, good bikes and relaxed atmosphere helps make learning easier. Marnie was great on the admin and booking side of things, offering great riding advice. Very happy with the emphasis on safe, sensible riding. Highly recommended to all my friends.

Did the RE license course today with Jesse. It was an excellent experience, Jesse was super helpful and his instructions were clear. Out on the ride Jesse gave us time to reflect on our abilities and offered advice on what we could work on. Overall great experience would highly recommend!

I had Aidan as an Instructor and thoroughly enjoyed my 2 day pre-learner course. The course is not only compulsory but also extremely beneficial for all beginner riders. I would definitely recommend RideSmart for all Motorbike beginners.

I got recommended to do my learners through the company as my boyfriend had done his through the same place.I just completed my pre learners course today with instructor Jesse and I just wanted to say whatever that man is getting paid he deserves it at least doubled haha.. His knowledge, kindness and patience really made me as a complete newbie to riding a motorbike feel comfortable and greatly educated.I also love how the students safety is prioritised and feedback if feeling overwhelmed or confused about anything isn’t discouraged to discuss this with the instructors which led me to be able to work on my strengths and weaknesses and felt supported doing so. I personally did say one then needed some extra help and then after booked between my day two a 1 on 1 also with Jesse for extra guidance and it helped so much! Thankyou so much Jesse!Also Marnie who answered my call and helped me organise both my pre learners course and my 1on1 session was a kind, helpful and delightful woman to speak to. She answered any and all my questions I had prior to signing up to do the course and helped me also feel at ease and supported on such an exciting new chapter of getting a moto licence. Thankyou also so much Marnie!I look forward to coming back to do my other RE and R courses here!
