Strathfield Council Library & Innovation Hub

Nice quiet library on a nice quiet street with plenty of parking space. The interior design is chic and modern with plenty of table to study at, all with nice lightings. A little difficult to access if you don’t have a car. Minus point because the wifi was not working.

Now a days it is very hard to find a place to read.Reading always need a quiet place so we can concentrate but there is no any particular separation despite big area, different sections.Just need few instruction and it will be very good segregation that suits all including children, elder and off course academic student.Hope it will improve in near future in every big library

I like to spend time here with my son, reading books, and esp. the games room for kids during school holidays, is such an innovation for a library. I wonder if this room can be opened on normal days too, esp. weekends! Am sure this will be much appreciated by many local families. Thanks.

Needs more cleaning going on, or at least wipes and bins readily available for people to use (eg. in gyms). So much food debris and other weird marks on chairs, greasy body/hand smears on tabletops, who knows what has accumulated on fabric surfaces.... Toilets are a bit gross sometimes.Can be ridiculously noisy like an indoor park with kids/elderly/highschoolers unnecessarily hanging out" which is frustrating. It's still a library

Good place for reading group. But terrible parking! The owner of 55 Rochester St, just opposit of the medical practice will call the ranger to book you a ticket even their drive-way cannot park or drive any vehicle (too small)! And they made the council to give NO PARKING sign to where this white car was parked on Google map. And they will curse you , and shout at you with ** words even you are already ticketed and have no attention to interact with them. Absurd and unreasonable signage from council will make you think you can park, and then they will give you a ticket. This area is not welcoming drivers. So do not stay, even spending time for a meal or shopping is not a smart choice. Just pick up the books and go. If you have the similar experince please like, so we can make more people to be aware of this.

Nice library. There's also a recreation room with board games and table tennis. There are four docking stations for laptop with usb-c with a monitor and a mouse each.

Went here only few days ago for the first time. I really like the library. Really great, spacious, very clean. Well maintained all the cleaning regulations. Lot's of great books, I found most of stuff I been looking for. And most importantly the library staff is very friendly and helpful. Thanks for that!

the atmosphere is really nice, but the amount of noise cancels out the pros. i don't mean just every day sounds, they do interior work during the day where furniture is moved and have a kid's area in the center, where it makes the entire building loud. they really couldn't make a separate room for the children's area at least?? not sure why anyone would come here or why my tax dollars are being used for this

Very loud today. So many old Chinese people eating foods everywhere too. I know it was luna new year recently but I don't see why it has to be everywhere you guys have function room why not just keep it there only? Other people eat their lunch outside for good reasons. Staffs and librarians don't do much infect they joined along. I have asked them if they can keep the activities inside or ask them to quiet down but I got ignored.
