Once again the team at Nelson Alexander Ivanhoe have assisted in selling our home for us in Ivanhoe. The sales team is a class act, ever remaining optimistic in their approach in a difficult market period. We renovated a unit which we have owned for 10 years and initially sought some advice from Gordon Hope 2 years ago on the necessary changes to make. Consequently we sold our family home through Gordon and after fully renovating the unit, we moved into it as our new home. We met with Gordon and his team a couple of months ago to prepare a campaign for sale before Christmas. This was done professionally and within a manageable budget. Once the sales campaign started 4 weeks ago, Gordon and his associate Hayden Reed, managed 55 parties through both public and private inspections, followed up the contacts and maintained a positive, honest and encouraging approach throughout. At the auction, Gordon was excellent, not wasting time with palaver but driving the momentum of the auction with 4 active bidders and a great eventual result with much cheering and applause from the crowd on a wet and miserable Saturday. Congratulations to the team, plaudits to Gordon and Hayden for their professionalism and a special mention to Amanda Robertson, Gordon's EA who has to rate as one of the cheeriest people we have met.
