Unfortunately my experience left a lot to be desired. I contacted Signarama for the installation of a company logo for a car. During the pricing stage I photoshopped some crude photos with the company logo placed over the car showing where the logos were to be placed. I also notified RICA NARAJOS that I was open to any suggestions andrecommendations towards the level of package I should choose. I was advised that their artist would provide me with a design, so I was a little disappointed when I received the crude photoshopped pictures I had originally sent through on a Signarama letter head as the final design.After attending to collect the car after the install, I returned home to realise that the bonnet decal had been incorrectly installed with lettering accompanying the logo and placed 3 to 4cm off centre on the bonnet. These things do happen, although running a tape measure across the bonnet is a simple task that was clearly not completed.So I contacted RICA who then had me re attend so they could investigate. Once back, I was never offered an apology but rather I was asked “where did I want it then”, as if somehow it had been strategically placed off centre on the bonnet. I found this strange, weird really. Why would I want a decal of all places on the bonnet of a car off centre by over 3 centimetres, I thought this would be common sense. I felt the sales rep was shifting the blame, attempting to downplay the situation, trying to make out that I was the one being fussy or having some kind of over the top attention to detail. They never took any responsibility.So after a short discussion and pointing out the incorrect placement (I actually brought my own tape measure) they replaced the logo (they cleaned the duco by running a finger across the bonnet) and I advised them to keep the logo as is, with the unintended lettering, it looked okay, even though it was not what I truly wanted, I was actually made to feel uncomfortable a little guilty as if I was putting them out and I also did not want to add any further confusion to the situation. I was asked to witness the placement to make sure I was happy. I wanted the logo in the centre of the bonnet, it should not be up to me and my eye to ensure it is in the centre, use a tape measure, simple. Unfortunately the fix did not go to plan as it was a hot day and the logo developed some bubbling. I was told I would need to return early one morning. This was an inconvenience and I’m not sure why the replacement was attempted.So I returned for a second time to have the logo fixed, unfortunately when I returned home I noticed some more bubbling. I took some pics and emailed them to Rica who advised me that they had an opening on Friday morning for the bubbles to be investigated. Not receiving an apology for the inconvenience or any acknowledgement of fault. After some research I came across some information noting that vinyl decal bubbles will more than likely dissipate in the sun over time. This was something that was never communicated to me.At this point I was disappointed and relayed my feelings to Rica who advised me that “they had fixed their mistake without charging me and that they had been apologetic otherwise they would not have fixed it”. I should feel privileged that they were fixing their mistake free of charge.In summary not taking responsibility, poor communication, lack of an apology and putting blame back onto the customer was unacceptable and made for an unpleasant and awkward experience. If I was offered a simple apology for the inconvenience after the first, second and or third mistake then I would not be here writing this review.Judging by the inappropriate email sent to me by ACACIA HAYES, condoning the behaviour and level of service that I received, I would be very surprised if I did not see a twisted and spun response exonerating Signarama of any wrong doing and placing blame back on me the customer.EDITHappy to share email correspondence with Google.
