Cremeria Giuseppina Five Dock

After all the hype from the internet, best this trademark that, I drove 30mins there with a bunch of friends. I have to say, didn’t have the greatest experience ever. This gelato burger thing, the bun is so dry. And the Nutella is so thick, it doesn’t really matter what your gelato is, you won’t really taste it. Also, the menu says these burgers are $7.50 each. But after I order, somehow the lady says if I want this and that, and I paid $20+ for both of these. And the tea we ordered, didn’t even come until we were about to leave.

Pretty smooth and creamy gelato. Average sized scoops and not cheap, $6/8/10 for 1/2/3 scoops. The plastic spoons they give, however, are much too bendy and a little annoying to use. Customer service was not amazing, the gentleman serving us seemed a little disgruntled to be there on a Sunday afternoon.Tiramisu was quite disappointing, tasting more like a sweet wine than coffee, mascarpone or chocolatePistachio was just ok but cost an extra $1Sicilian peach was very good actually. Gives me hope that the other flavours might be worth coming back for

What a cute and lovely place! A piece of Italy in Sydney. The gelato is homemade and super delicious and the pastries are just divine! Super friendly owners too.

Great discovery, excellent espresso, traditional ice cream flavours, attentive service and range of pastries and cakes. Great affogatos, worth a drop in, make the time and enjoy a traditional Italian treat.

A cute little italian Cafe to sit and have a quiet coffee in the morning sun. Away from the main, busier areas of Great North Road, Cremeria Giuseppina really brings Italy home. Extremely friendly staff who make superb coffee and mouth watering pastries And gelato is what makes this Cafe stand out from the rest.Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with ample parking close by.Five Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Some nice stuff here but I have to mark the stars down due to the prices. We had two espressos, one scoop of gelato and one slice of cake and the bill was 25 dollars with no invoice so something’s up. I hear the cannoli are great but the filling was all gone when we arrived so I didn’t get to try what I came for. Flavours were good. Service not bad. Space comfy but would need some good outdoor shade to get the five stars. I think this place has enormous potential and I’ll try again one day and hope for a five star day!

The new proprietor (guy) is extremely rude. Google says he closes at 10pm and I was having the hot chocolate at 9pm and he turned off the lights on me. The next time I came with 10 people and he would not give me an extra table. Even after I bought about 10 desserts. Very unprofessional. Will not come again, do not come if you don’t feel like being put off your dessertReply: LOL if it was on the table as you claim, your so called dessert was as bad as your service! Your response speaks volumes of your lack of business experience. The previous owners were wonderful! Avoid this current owner like the plague, this business will not last!

I have the distinct feeling old mate behind the counter would have preferred to be at home, in his lounge room watching the soccer on SBS than serve us.He REALLY didn't want us to order two excellent Italian hot chocolates with marshmallow like cream on-top.

If you search the best Granita in Sydney, this place pops up at the top of the list and for good reason! We just left after coming for morning tea celebrating a birthday. All granitas were exceptional. Possibly better than what we had in Sicily and I can’t believe I’m even saying that. Heaps of flavours both traditional and unique and butter soft fresh brioche. The cream is thick, sweet and fresh. The peach and strawberry flavours were our favourite.Now onto the staff/owners. I had seen some negative reviews but I honestly don’t know what they were talking about. They were kind, friendly and welcoming. It’s a busy place and everything is sent out of the kitchen with care and within a reasonable time. I had young kids with me and they were treated very well and nothing was a trouble, even with my girl not wanting to sit and moving around we always felt welcome and looked after.I had not been here in years but it was better than ever and we will be back, probably next week!
