Jumrum Creek Conservation Park
Wonderful rainforest walk close to Kuranda. Dense foliage with stunning birds and a beautiful creek in the middle. It is long enough to enjoy and short enough to not be tiring.

An easy hike around kuranda village. Can see the river, the train line and grab food in the markets. Mostly paved, a decent amount of stairs but not too many.

Jumrum Creek Conservation Park
Really enjoyable walk through rainforest and along the river. Flat, easy path that can be joined near the information centre, or at the jetty for the river boat (cross over the railway bridge). I really enjoyed the peaceful, shaded walk along the river, but there is really good variety for such a short walk. Be careful to follow the signs at the road crossing to avoid getting lost.
