The prettiest place we have ever stayed at. So peaceful. It's a free camp. No toilets or showers . Bring your own drinking water.

Fantastic reserve, popular during peak holiday periods, plenty of camping areas close to the water, no toilet amenities so be prepared... pack a shovel and do the rite thing, no rubbish bins... Again do the rite thing take it with you and dispose of either at home or closest public bin. Rangers often patrol, friendly campers abound here, great for families, easy accessible by any vechile, not wheelchair friendly.

Coming from Jingellic, the turn off is not well signposted so follow Google Maps.Once you enter the reserve there is a no through road and off this are many tracks to camp spots by the Murray River.At the end of the road is a grassy area with a few campsites.No facilities.We only drove in to have a look. It was a long weekend so pretty busy but there were still spots to be found.A lot of people had caravans. The road in is gravel, a lot of small river rocks but not too bad.The river is wide and fast flowing.

Right on the Murray River, only 5km from Walwa village. Plenty of sites to camp at and easy access if you have a van. Very pretty. Unfortunately no toilets.

Beautiful camp grounds. The distance from the gate to the end is about 300 metres or so, no amenities and limited to no mobile service but you won’t care as It’s beautiful, quiet and free. There are a couple of spots for kids to play in shallow water away from the river flow, those areas are on the right hand side as you head into the grounds. There are a couple of turnouts along the way to turn a caravan around if needed so you shouldn’t get stuck.

What a beautiful spot to camp, not far from Walwa, and Corryong, wonderful hospitality in both towns to go and explore, no toilets or showers at this reserve, so need to be self contained, but enjoy the peace and quiet, will go back!!
