My Hung Fabrics

Their treatment was bad, Since the fabrics inside the shop and the lights change color and they refuse to take it outside to be sure from the colour , I asked them to help me to choose a particular color that was a photo with me, but they chose a color that is completely different from what is required when I took it out of the shop, they refused to refund or change, so I threw it and bought from another shop, I lost my money with this shop

Very great range of fabrics. The staff are also very lovely and more than willing to help, if you a polite to them. Cannot fault them at all. Always enjoy coming in.

The range was fantastic, the two ladies were helpful and friendly and I had so much fun choosing the fabrics. I came home from Cabramatta feeling like I had been shopping in some wonderful overseas Asian city and felt like I had been on holiday! Truely a happy experience and as the two ladies spent time with me and we got to know each other a little, we all began to have fun and laugh. It was even explained to me that another of their stores was closer to me which would save such a long trip next time - now that's service - but I think I would rather drive the extra distance and have another great experience :) I have read some other reviews that are not so positive, but I think a 'retail relationship' needs both parties to be nice - it's not just up to the retail staff but the responsibility of the customer as well. :) Want nice treatment - then be nice yourself!

After reading reviews prior to my visit, I entered the shop with some trepidation .... what a lovely surprise to be greeted by friendly staff who were welcoming, helpful and certainly not racist as suggested in previous reviews! We are from out of Sydney and were made to feel very welcome.We had been searching for specific colours of tulle for my daughter's HSC major work project, and had no luck at other stores. My Hung had a great range and exactly what we needed.Thank you for your great service and we would definitely come back here again.

Hated it. Needed recommendations for what material I should use to make a dress sold me the wrong material just for their profit said they would give me details about dressmaker after I bought the material. Cheap and tacky would not recommend for anyone.

I am a regular of this shop and I love their stock. It's good quality and worth the price. I come here for costuming related things but also for my own personal fashion needs. They also sell buttons, trim, ribbon, elastic, all the herbashery at such a good price, am a huge fan

Great range of fabrics that can’t be found at other stores and at affordable prices. The two ladies at the shop were extremely knowledgable and helpful. Took me an hour to get here as I do not live in the area however definitely worth the trip - will be back for my next design project!

The worse customer service experience. Overtly racist (yes I said it!). The woman saw me, walked past me quite abruptly and asked the other ladies who walked in after me if they needed help. She did it again a couple of minutes later when another group walked in. I walked out and went a little bit down the road, around the corner and spent over $200 on exactly what I needed. The shop owner greeted me with the biggest smile, helped me find everything I needed and he was cracking up jokes the whole time I was there. The shop was busy but he and the lady who was also serving other customers had a constant smile on their faces.Steer clear of My Hung Fabrics in Cabramatta!! Esp if you are not white or Vietnamese..

If I could I'd give it zero stars. The fabric range is great but the customer service is absolutely deplorable. The staff are so rude and arrogant I don't think they cared that they were rude and arrogant. Offered no help at all, were put out that we pulled rolls of fabric out to look at and feel, were put out when we rolled them up again and put them back(where they came from), seemed we couldn't win. We could tell that they were talking about us in their own language from the body language. We decided to go and look at other fabric shops seeing as our business meant very little to them but unfortunately my daughter found the perfect fabric at My Hung so back we went and bought what she wanted. We spent quite a lot of money which I deeply resented handing over. If it was the last fabric shop in Sydney I would NEVER shop there again.
