Pristine, this end of the river is what's known as the nursery to a host of sea life & the entrance to Weyba Creek which takes you down to Lake Weyba. On your way you'll see everything from pelicans, ducks & black swan to sea eagles & a huge bat colony. Then there's all the baby rays & tiny blue sandcrabs. It's approximately a 6klm paddle from the conservation park to the mouth of the lake & return so take water, wear a hat & pace yourself... It's worth it!

A well organised naturally vegetated spot.Great location for a lazy day with the family, picnicking, swimming or other non motorised water activities. There is also a separate dog park for our four puppies.

Be sure to do the mangrove circuit walk. Lots of interesting info on the mangrove ecosystem.

Peacefull clean dog friendly areas safe swimming easy access as far as I'm concerned it's the essence of Noosa ...and when your done resting your mind dipping your toes or walking the dog the fine coffee and food is a short drive away !

Nice short walk to enjoy mangroves; can see small blue crabs (don't know exact name) if you are patient enough because they tended to hide themselves when they sense any movement. However, if you have already been to mangrove conservatives in Darwin, sorry but not greatly worthy to go.

Also locally known asWeyba Creek Dog Recreation Park.A lush and peaceful park away from traffic.A great waters-edge pathway for bike riding, and good for meeting friends with their dogs.

Nice Mangrove boardwalk, there's an eagle nest to see. If you sit on the bridge further up and watch the water you can see Stingray coming upstream.

A nice break on the walk with a time out on the bridge, relaxing.
