Some of the worst customer service I have encountered.On top of this welding helmets that keep failing.I had an automatic welding helmet lens fail on a helmet that was nearly new. Annoying, but I thought if I change the battery it would be fixed.A few hours later if consistent welding and the battery was flat and I have been flashed again.Dropped to Sydney tools for a warranty. Taking into account Sydney tools needs to wear some of the blame here as their customer service is probably even worst than what I have encountered with unimig.I was told it would be a quick turn around and it would be sent off, assessed and then fixed and returned. No longer than a week.I had a spare unimig helmet so this worked for me.Fast forward two weeks now, my spare helmet has had the exact same issue !I work every day to make a living as a welder, so I take it strait to Sydney tools to see what can be done only to find out my first helmet is still sitting in their warehouse.Sydney tools blame unimig, unimig blame Sydney tools… either way, by this stage I was one very unhappy customer.They ask what they can do to help, I request that my helmet just be replaced out of the stock in store or take a lens out a stock helmet in store, Sydney tools needed permission from unimig to do this apparently and they said no.They have to stick to their process and have it sent back.Even after an hour of back and forth over the phone with multiple staff and apparently the director the fact that two helmers had failed me and I was in store expressing the urgency of the situation now in the fact I need a helmet to make a living. I was told they are not willing to budge and cannot help me.Over all the general tone was horrible, the lack of flexibility to help out a customer who has been severely let down by two products affecting their ability to make a living was deplorable.If I could give zero stars I would.I have been a loyal unimig customer for over ten years and after this experience, I can guarantee I will never buy another unimig product again.I have had to purchase a new helmet, I highly suggest cigwel, Lincoln, kempi, speedglas, who all have helmets of similar value and I have had previous great customer service from those companies.In short… DO NOT BUY UNIMIG, the after sales support is pathetic.

Poor form by the Luke chap from Melbourne on the phone today, had to go through the rep to get my repair sorted, Luke spoke rudely to me when I just wanted my problem addressed needs training in complaint resolution hope someone fixes my issue

UNIMIG DOES IT AGAIN. I have to share this experience.Today I went in and enquired about getting a TIG welder for my workshop. I knew what I needed it for and that's all I needed to know. Bill from Days industrial served me and I have to say that it was the most professional service I have ever experienced. He asked me all the important questions and understood future business prospects I most likely will encounter. His recommendations of the machine I will need was perfect, with a couple of options for me to choose from, I selected the UNIMIG 200 ACDC TIG purely because I already have a UNIMIG MIG welder and it's performance is perfect. He didn't try to sell me things I didn't need, he explained everything to me in plain English and gave me a great understanding of aspects I had no idea about. If that wasn't enough, he then prepared the machine for me to try and I was blown away with his knowledge on welding and his advice on how the machine operated in different conditions and situations. I never once felt pressured or awkward if I didn't understand something. Needless to say that my decision to go to Days industrial is definitely one of my finest. I don't know if Days is competitive on price and I don't really care, because I know they are unbeatable on service. Thank you guys for a marvelous experience and thank you UNIMIG for being a truly awesome machine. I'll see you all again soon.

customer service is a joke . brought a unimig welder needed a new fan and i cant get one .more info 5/7/21 went through a unimig supplier completely useless sourcing a fan from unimig .ended up going to another company got it in 3 days .

Fanatstic customer service, i was having a issue with my unimig welder and they checked it out to make sure everything was working , and didnt charge me anything for this service. These guys really stand behind there product and were extremelly helpful . I dont think any other welding supplier could offer the level of support or service unimig villawood does.
