I have been dealing with Centrelink for many years and have always received a friendly greeting, respect and the utmost helpfulness. I'm at a complete loss reading these negative reviews as they represent the opposite of what I have experienced and witnessed whilst there. I think, given the attitudes expressed, it must take a very special person to work in that environment and I for one am grateful for the benefits I receive and the manner in which I'm dealt with. Thank you to all the patient staff.

The staff here were very friendly, helpful and they bent over backward to help us. The seating is quite comfortable, and we genuinely felt welcome the whole time. 10/10 would Centrelink again.

Gave me false information mutilply times. Lead me on to believe I was entitled as a kiwi. Waited 6 weeks or so, 3 hours on the phone, multipy times going in only to be declined many times. I have literally wasted so much of my time chasing up dead ends because no one seems to know anything.

Be prepared to wait a while until you can see someone. The staff can be a bit emotionless and cold at times. Don't expect to have a good time here. No free parking, be sure to check your meter.

The person guarding the door doesn't even have the decency to get a chair for the elderly. This place is so disconnected from humanity I cringe walking in and I regularly see sad depressed people getting treated like objects. Where is the human element.
