Star of the Sea

We recently stayed here for 3 nights and loved every minute of it. The view from the ocean room is unbelievable. Its one of the more pricier option around terrigal but there is a lot to do inside the property such as indoor/outdoor pool with slides, pool room, table tennis, squash, lawn tennis etc. The staff is very helpful and the property is very well looked after. The apartments have everything you need such as utensils, washing machine, vaccum etc. Be mindful though if you have prams you have to exit viathe main gate which is a longer walk into town and its pretty much uphill on the way back. It wasnt a big deal for us but just fyi.Overall we highly recommend this place.

Wow wow wow , fantastic joint and just an hour out of Sydney. Fabulous spacious apartments . Great facilities for kids . My kids called it Paradise. The pool bar food is terrific. I cannot fault this place . An excellent stay for young and old .

Just came home after celebrating my 50th birthday, beautiful views, comfortabe beds, plenty of space, just beautiful. Stayed in Unit 51, could not fault the service or staff. Everyone so accommodating and went out of their way to make it extra special. Certainly recommend for any occasion. Already planning another weekend or maybe a week up there.

every thing was extremely clean. Staff are super Nice and they make it a great family holiday place. Down by the pool can get noisy but what would you expect for a family area. Me and my family go up every summer and I honestly can't say anything bad about the place. It is very close to the beach and has a great environment that I love being in.there is tons of parking space for visitors. And lots of facilitys. There are different parts of the resort. Me and my family stay in the haven either number 7 or 12. I don't think we have ever had a bad experience. Bob the boss is always welcoming us every year.I would 120% recommend staying here for a family holiday

I have frequently visited Star of the Sea over the last few years. It is absolutely the best place to stay in Terrigal if you have children or are looking for somewhere close to the CBD. Again, this stay we are super impressed. The accomodation was excellent and the staff are super friendly and helped us with anything we needed. Great pools and facilities, will be back again for sure.

We recently booked the 4 bedroom penthouse apartment for 10+ people. Literally one of the best resorts I’ve ever stayed at. Upon arrival, staff were great & even helped take our bags to our room. The penthouse itself was very luxurious, spacious & had a large balcony with an amazing view. Resort also had a tennis court, squash court, pool table, tennis table, indoor & outdoor heated pools. I’ve cancelled our yearly QLD holiday & will always be coming here from now on.

Great location and building; can suggest the following to have a better stay. Bedrooms on the pool area and very noisy from 6:30am with kids; bedrooms around the pool have a lot of light all night due to the pool area lights being left on all night.The site manager is great ask her for Assistance in finding good rooms to avoid the above.

What an amazing place! Highly recommend and we’re already planning another trip back.Firstly, Bob the boss is a Character! Already miss his funny jokes and banter that started the moment we checked in. He really looks after you and it was so refreshing to have everyone here genuinely care about their customers experiences.Secondly, the rooms are beautiful, ours was fully renovated just weeks before so all the furniture is brand new and it shows! The rooms and furniture are all very clean.Next, the facilities are great. Just wish the pool was opened a little bit later but we still got our fair share of time in the indoor heated pool.Can’t wait to come back again.

Beautiful and spotless. Beds were so comfortable and service beyond helpful. The style was magnificent. We stayed in suit 52 with myself, two sisters and 94 year old mother
