Sharps Powder Coating & Sandblasting

Hi Reader, DERMPAV (a not for profit organisation) had this bracket that would hold our sign made by one of our members. We had this powder coated in 2013 as it was going to live outdoors at Newport where we get the salt air from the bay. Still today it is in pristine condition, so great work from Sharps. Aaron is a quality tradesman with a very high standard of workmanship we use him for powder coat at our Resto shop and never a problem how ever I'd like to advise people of Google reviews I know for a fact that one of the negative reviews on Aaron's page was done by a low life person who gets a kick out of trying to destroy small businesses he's recently done it to me and like Arron we deliver a high standard and enough is enough Google needs to change its set up so clowns can't write absolute rubbish that isn't true ! So please read reviews that you know aren't a fake name that is just there to try to destroy small businesses! PS this guy that writes these reviews has a business and should know better but unfortunately he can't build a brand and is jealous when people like myself and Aaron are and have !just food for thought when reading reviews people cheers

I had the misfortune of using Sharps Powder Coating to powder coat some simple car components. I made the mistake of not requesting a quotation, relying on past experience at other powder coating businesses as a gauge of the expected price.The parts powder coated were as follows:1. Two only Cam Shaft covers2. Four only Inlet manifolds3. One only battery bracket4. A small number of small bracketsThe charge for having the above parts powder coated was $600.00 plus GST. I subsequently gained a quotation for the same work on the same parts at two other companies specializing in powder coating. One quoted $165.00, the other $180.00. These prices were both consistent with costs I’d incurred at other powder coating businesses for similar work.Not only was the cost totally unreasonable, the quality of work was poor, with the coating having come away with the masking, leaving bare metal spots.
