Gold Coast Boat & Jet Ski Licensing

There’s many options for boat and ski licences on the Gold Coast but Luke and the crew here are excellent for a novice like I was. The follow through, support and positive attitude from Luke throughout the process makes you feel at ease! Cannot recommend these guys highly enough! Happy Boating!

Was told my test would be done in a couple hours. I was there for nearly 10 hours and I eventually passed without a single error. I found luke one of the most unlikeable and rude instructors I’ve ever met. I didn’t know till the 11th hour if I’d even passed. He didn’t even tell me if I had passed till it was quarter to 6 at night and he asked for my credit card to pay. I passed the theory for Jet Ski and Boat with flying colours. Turns out the people I was with failed 1 or 2 questions. After him bickering with all of us after a while he said “ok I’ll let the people who failed retake the test but I would have to also retake it” With new questions in different order and if I got a single question wrong I would have to come back another day (which he said wouldn’t be for weeks) I found that ridiculous and completely unprofessional. I passed it already I answered all the questions correct?Of course like I said luckily enough I still got them all correct. He constantly made me felt like I was doing something wrong, that he was weirdly doing us a favour or tried to make people feel not confident they were doing the right thing.I would HIGHLY advise anyone on the Gold Coast to go to another company. I’ve since spoken to multiple instructors about my experience and how he handled that day and they said that is not at all how it’s done or handled.I was also booked in with two other friends of mine and I have since told them it is not worth their time and to forget about their deposit and go with a different company which they took my advice.Just a word of advice for Luke. Don’t be a knob head to people. Doesn’t help to smile and communicate better to people. Especially over the course of a 10 hour day…

I completed both my Boat and JetSki licence with Col and it was a great and easy experience. I had not previously had much experience driving boats or jetskis and was taught a wealth of knowledge in a short time. I left the course feeling confident and comfortable to be out on the water alone. Highly recommend doing your course through this company.

Went to this place for the first time and didn't pass and got told to come back and when I tried messaging them to come back to do the test again, never got a reply back and will never come back to you. Wouldn't recommend

Wasnt looking forward to an 8hr day licencing. BUT what a great day with a fantastic instructor. Im 44yrs old with A.D.D so information retention is a challenge , always has been but Lukes methods are outstanding and my retention of his marker explanation even amazes me. Could not recommended this business enough!Just got nailed, on behalf of my wife and i as we did this course together and this has been edited so i can go fishing tomorrow.

Friends of ours went to a different location for their boat licenses, we choose to go to Luke at Gold Coast Boat & Jet Ski Licensing and what an excellent day it was. We left with a great knowledge and understanding of both the theroy and practical skills required, but to be honest it was Luke's professional knowledge and experience that made the day so good. Would highly recommend this to anyone requiring their boat or jet ski license. Thank Like, Dave & John

Luke delivered a detailed yet straightforward understanding of the marine rules and regulations on both Boat and Jet Ski which also gave me greater confidence towards enjoying my boating experience. Definitely recommend to anyone applying for their marine licence and needing to do the boat safe course.

Great service from the day I signed up.Luke is a teacher so you can be sure you gonna have the best instructions on your test day. He was patient and clear during the whole day and he is going to make sure you get out of there with the best knowledge.Make sure you practice or get some lessons with Luke prior the test. You must have the minimum experience.
