The Indian women needs to back off, no concept of personal space. Felt so uncomfortable

Staff are not that friendly. Small shop. Less options. Good location though. Right beside the library.

My recent visit to Vinnies at Corinda yesterday was bit of a surprise. I had previously really enjoyed dropping into this op shop once in a while. It was reasonably convenient if you could get a park next to the library in the car park quite close by. If not, street parking is difficult. On this visit I was very taken aback at the very high pricing of goods in the shop. The homewares and kitchenware, in particular, for example, one small clear serviette ring $4. A typical scarf that would be $2 or $3 at a usual charity store, maybe $4 for a really nice one, but here they are all $6.I was also surprised that the stock wasn't as full as usual, especially unusual for this time of year, as most Op Shops have an excess of goods currently. The reopening of this store hasn't meant any improvements... in fact, less variety higher prices and nothing interesting or unique to find! There were a few people shopping in the store, mainly women for clothing, maybechecking out if anything was new. It seems they have a fair turnover in women's clothing. The shoes were also excessively priced and not really in good condition. There wasn't anything really unique in the homewares, and as I've said, overpriced.Like all things in life, perhaps this will turn around again at some stage. There was always something unique about this op shop previously and the goods they carried.
