Rude and arrogant. I had a small job done here last year so I thought I would go back as I needed to get some additional items made for my kitchen renovation and have a kickboard trimmed as I have installed new flooring. I was then interrogated as to who installed my kitchen and where I got it from, when I explained that it was a DIY kitchen ordered through Bunnings his behavior changed, he told me that as I did not give him the opportunity to give a quotation to do the kitchen he was not interested at doing anything for me, I explained to him that these were additional items that are not available as part of the DIY kitchen, he simply turn around and told me to go away. A local business simply having plenty of work on their books and only interested bigger jobs instead of just helping out a local. If he is worried about online services or what the hardware shops can offer then he needs to think about the power of word of mouth" in a small community. Another company was happy to do it for $100."

Hi Everyone,Got to be very careful with this particular person/company. Worst experience of my life dealing with the person in charge of this company. Nothing new under the comments section, rude/arrogant/obnoxious is probably what I would use to describe.Got my quote when in March, I did not get a chance to have my shop till in April. Didn't actually ring him because I thought we have most things agreed upon during the first round of discussion, and no bargaining of price from me. It was quite tough to arrange for the site viewing as there was another tenant in the shop that I was renting, hence, I called him a few more times. He decided not to undertake the job (The very last minute) and the reason that was given is because I have rang him too many times (6 calls in two days).I was quite taken aback because most to the carpenters were flat out and couldn't even have time to have a look at my shop. I know that the actual reason is because companies would prefer much profitable jobs rather than small jobs like mine. He could have told me earlier so that I could sort things out earlier.But anyway, I would just like to warn people that doesn't have contacts and want to get things done to please be very careful and don't ever get caught out!!!PS: I was pretty lucky to have another kind hearted carpenter that would squeeze me through between his flat out schedule.
