Fraser Coast Sports and Recreation Precinct

The soccer and oztag pitches are well surfaced. The playing surfaces are in great condition. Where this complex fails though is in shade cover and seating for coaches & substitute players and for spectators.When there is soccer and netball being played at the same time, which is every Saturday, parking is woeful. The overflow have to park up on the grounds where stage 2 fields are to be built. I really don't know what will happen if stage 2 ever gets developed, bringing with it even more cars.I don't think that this was thought out well before it was rushed to construction and indeed after 2 years since stage 1 was opened, it is still not completed. Whilst the playing surfaces may be premier in standard, the remainder leaves a lot to be desired.

Very modern facilities that are improving every week. Good lighting at night for Netball training, Walking Netball and Football games. Worth the short trip out from town to participate or get involved in your favorite sports.

Facilities are pretty good but massively lacks shade and seating.

It's OK, but I went for junior soccer with my grandson and no seats available, and no shade being the first time I had been there, I got over heated and being in my 60s. And sitting on the grass or standing with a bad back made it a bit unpleasant I was disappointed with the parking facilities. The amount this facility has cost I would have expected at least shade if not seats to watch the soccer

I play netball, and love that after my game u can go to the canteen and eat some delicious food

Parents are advised that there is no access to taps for drinking water! Why are there taps along the fields then, and why are there no signs saying non potable? How can Fraser Coast Council allow this? Does no one else see this as a major safety issue for the young players? This should be a high priority as opposed to expanding the facility!

The council should be applauded for the way this place looks and the way they have turned it into an excellent sport ground, the fields are lush and thick with good grass. Only thing it needs is some undercover areas around the fields and netball courts these would be an excellent addition to the area ...

Grounds are great, seems obvious but could really use any source of shade, seating and extra water bublers would be a great addition.

What an excellent facility. Such forward thinking by the council to provide these facilities
