Huge thank you to the Lort Smith Animal Hospital. Especially to Dr Harry who was so kind and gentle when we had to say goodbye to our 17 year old cat Merlin today. I took my greyhound who had been badly attacked by 2 dogs to the hospital last weekend and I want to express my deepest appreciation of every staff member and especially the volunteer who was there on 13/5. From the moment I called in complete distress I was provided calm, compassionate reassurance which continued throughout my whole experience there. Not only did they attend to my dog with great care but they also really looked after me and the vet ensured I had all the information and knew exactly what was happening. The staff even attended to my injuries and made sure I followed up my own treatment.Thank you SO much to the vet, nurses and volunteer over this last weekend. You are all incredible humans.

My cat Jinx has been going to Lort smith for a while now. The staff are SO amazing, incredibly helpful, informative and caring. Im filled with love and appreciation after every visit. Eternally grateful. Highly recommend.

Lovely staffs at the reception. On time appointment and the Vet herself she was very kind to my little kitten. We are definitely choosing them as our vet to go. The location also was very convenient for us as there were parking for visitors inside the premise and also on the street.

Beatrix - who's adopted name is now Luna - was purchased 2 years ago from Lort Smith adoption area. Luna is not like normal cats she is much more playful and Charlies best friend. Shes mainly an indoor cat. She is well toilet trained. She is a very fussy eater and only eats high quality food. She generally only talks to Charlie and she doesn't really relate to anybody else.

Amazing customer service! My puppy and I were treated with care and compassion right from start to finish - the amazing reception team, the nurses and the vet! Very efficient, took the time to talk things through and understand the situation. Very pleased with our experience today.

Really appreciate the care from the vets at the emergency service. My pup stayed there for 5 nights due to very serious illness and thanks to their great care, he made a full recovery. Thank you so much.Also I love the giant flea balloon hung at the reception. Way to go!

I had taken my dog there on numerous occasions throughout this 12 year life. The vets were always kind, attentive, gave great advice and treatment and I honestly couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you so much for all the years you’ve all helped us. All the follow up and care and empathy we received when it was his time meant so much to us.Even though they’re a larger clinic and usually busy I’ve never felt rushed through, their receptionists always have the right advice 24/7 which helped me many times. Very grateful Lort smith exists.

Took my dog here for a routine procedure. Nurses and Doctors were kind and informative- nil concerns for the care he received and very thankful to all. However- please look at reviewing your reception staff and their approach. They are lacking in any sense of professionalism or compassion. Very disengaged and devoid of any sense of empathy given the nature of where they work. I spoke with both Lauren and Keely- both of which didn’t really make much of an effort and showed the definition of “bare minimum”. I know that this environment is tough and reception staff do encounter really difficult times but please- at least try to make people feel welcome and heard.
