Dive Centre Manly

I did the 2 day open water diving course and could not recommend it enough. My dive instructor Bill was so patient with us all as we figured out how everything worked, plus he made sure we were all comfortable throughout the entire experience which only made it more enjoyable. Sarah was also such a big help throughout it all. The rest of the staff were so kind and super chatty. Highly recommend it.

Dived with DCM and worked as a Divemaster for a number of years. Wonderful dive shop. Most sensible place to learn about diving (including dry-suit), go diving with, help other divers and learn about life too! Tricky/Janet and their team look after everyone very honestly - can't ask for more. Highly recommend for all.

What a beautiful way to explore more of the world from the comfort of your own backyard.I dove head first into the PADI open water diver course having never dived before and with minimal snorkelling experience.My partner and I felt like we hit the jackpot with Jeeven Jayanathan as our instructor.Jeeven has a calm, collected, soothing and nurturing presence. Exactly what you need to enter an unknown world.The PADI open water diver course went for two days. The group was an intimate number of four. Each of us with different levels of competency, Jeeven tailored his attention to our individual needs.The hardest skill for me as a freshie was to take my mask off underwater and displace the water with my breath. Jeeven encouraged me to take my time. I threw my mask off 10 metres deep and Jeeven looked me in the eyes with 100% presence and support as I succeeded.The weekend presented personal challenges yet the rewards were well worth it.Whilst we learnt how to safely dive, Jeeven shared his personal passion for diving and pure adoration for the underwater world. Asking Jeeven questions about diving was better than asking Google.I recommend Dive Centre Manly. I highly recommend Jeeven Jayanathan. Imagine a Yoga teacher under water. Quality.

I've done my dive training and several shore and boat dives with this company and only have good things to say about them. Diver safety is always top of mind and they won't ever sell you things you don't need.

Just finished my 2 day Open Water certification! Sam our instructor was fantastic. Really passionate about the ocean and respecting all aspects of it when diving in it. There was a big skill and age difference between our group and he managed us all really well with continuous encouragement but also pushed us to be independent once we learnt a skill which was essential for going forward in our dive journeys. I had an amazing couple days with instructor Bill Robson completing the open water diving course, Bill made sure we managed to see lots of marine life and still have fun despite challenging conditions!! Looking forward to future dives and would definitely come back to DCM!!!

Our guide Lisa was so lovely! Despite the bad weather she remained really enthusiastic throughout and was really good with me as a slightly nervous and still fairly new diver. We had a great time despite the weather changing our plans and still saw loads. Great company would thoroughly recommend!

I LOVED this diving center! They were so kind, understanding, patient, and SAFE. They go through everything so thoroughly. I had a lot of fun and would recommend this diver center for first time divers or those in need of a refresher course. Very knowledgeable in diving and the areas to go diving appropriate for the skill set of the divers that day.
