Very very beautiful beach. Good for families. Parking is not too bad if you park on a back Street. I wouldn't recommend metered parking. Food is walking distance also

Edwards Beach
Part of stunning Balmoral, this is our favourite beach in Sydney. Stunning views, clean and safe, the perfect choice for families with young children and older locals. Lovely walks along the promenade that one can extend up to Chowder Bay. Easy to grab a coffee or meal along the Esplanade.

Gorgeous beach, plenty of nice little spots to have a sit or a sun bake or a swim. Nice cafes nearby to grab a bit as well. (Avoid Balmoral Bathers though)

Used to be an easily accessible beach, now it severely overcrowded and busy on the weekends, After 9am good luck with parking anywhere within 700 meters from the beach and then finding a shaded spot on the highly densed beach. That makes it practically impossible to enjoy it anymore.
