Love their coconut cream bread the most! Garlic slice was a bit too dry…

I love the baked goods. However, sometimes the dough is not cooked through in stuffed buns etc.Today, I was not happy with the service.I ordered a large dirty chai with lactose free milk. I had to repeat my order three times. That's okay, can happen to anyone.I was waiting for my drink and saw that the lady was using full cream milk for my drink. She gave me my drink, which was a small chai with full cream milk, not dirty chai. I tried to tell her that I ordered and paid for a large, she just looked at me.If you go there, just get the baked goods, no drinks.

Came here for coffee on a Thursday afternoon and it’s such a beautiful place! Great selection of savoury and sweet pastries, cakes, and biscuits. Good selection of bubble tea and coffee (but no hot tea). It was super busy around 4.30, but given most cafes in Canberra close after lunch, this is a very welcome addition to available cafes, especially so close to ANU.

I recently visited a cake shop for my niece's birthday cake, and unfortunately, they were unable to take my order. Despite having employees present, they informed me that they were facing some challenges that prevented them from fulfilling my request. However, I was impressed with the effort that the staff made to try and help me. They contacted the kitchen staff and the manager, but unfortunately, they were still unable to take my order. While it was disappointing that I could not get the cake that I wanted, I appreciated their efforts to try and help me.Overall, I think this cake shop has a dedicated team that genuinely cares about providing excellent service to their customers. While I was unable to place my order on this occasion, I would still consider visiting them again in the future based on the customer service I experienced.

I have visited this Cafe twice before Canberra went into lockdown. The cakes were delicious and gorgeous. The entire place was also such a lovely aesthetic. The staff were polite and kind.My only issue is the price of these cakes are surprisingly expensive. One slice is around $9. The slice sizing is a decent sizing for one person.Walking out with two items for $18 I felt a little shocked. At least the carry box was cute.I would love a reason to visit more but with this kind of pricing it will have to be for rare treat occasions.11/1/23 update - they've changed the shape of the cakes and it seems smaller but still about the same price which is a shame.

I don't mind the bubble tea here, it's cheap and pre-made so you can grab it off the counter straight away, but there is only two choices - one of which is black tea and the other is green tea. The black forest cake looks good and tastes OK, I'm just not a fan of sponge base but sponge lovers might like it. Regards @fooderarri

I love the breads from this cafe. Many kind of soft and sweet breads. You may see a beautiful wall after entering.

I was so excited when I saw that an 85 Degrees had opened up and this part is probably my fault but I excitedly grabbed a slice of Swiss roll, a ham and cheese pastry and some puff pastry twists with flaked almonds without looking at the prices (some items didn’t have price tags so I don’t know whether those three items I picked up did or didn’t have price tags but let’s just assume they did and I didn’t pay attention). I thought this 85 Degrees was just like the ones in Sydney and didn’t expect to pay more than $18 or so at the most for the things I picked up - it ended up being $27.I think the taste of some of these pictured items does not reflect the price paid - the Swiss roll was literally plain cake and cream for $10.80…The cake was fine, it could have been softer and the cream was fine too. I would expect this standard from a $5 slice of cake not an almost $11 slice! When you venture into expensive cake territory you’re competing with the likes of Via Dolce and Passiontree Velvet - both of these places sell elaborate cakes with layers and fruit not just cake and cream.Moving on to the other items, the ham and cheese pastry was alright - no better or worse than Breadtop and the puff pastry twists were enjoyable. However, I probably wouldn’t buy the twists again as they’re pretty expensive at $10.80 for a pretty small bag. You could get similar nice biscuits at somewhere like David Jones for around the same price.I don’t usually focus that much on pricing because I generally go to places where I roughly know what I’m going to pay e.g. not places with no prices on their menus however this particular 85 Degrees seems to be expensive for no reason at all. I might come back for some of their other savoury items like the pork floss roll (I think that was $4ish) but I’m definitely not picking up anything without making sure of the price next time! Lesson learnt!

Highly disappointed with the Service and the quality of the product. We ordered Cappuccino and there was no froth and chocolate powder on the top. It was just warm milk.I requested her that there’a no froth and the quality is not unto the mark. She replied back saying that this is how it is and could you please allow me to serve other customer. We ordered 8 coffees together and all the coffee was the worst I have ever tried.I’ll not suggest anyone to visit this store atleast not to have a coffee.

I really love the the breads from the cafe. There is a variety of options, from savoury to sweet. Their cakes are delicious too. As a pastry enthusiast, I have enjoyed mostly everything I've tried from the cafe so far! I have also got their bubble tea a couple of times and it is good too.
