Lots on waves when I visited. Cafe serves basic food and good coffee. Arrive early as limited parking. Out door shower to rinse off the salt water.

Unpopular, bonus/not a bonus, depending on how you think of it. Australian Salmon common here for any beach fishermen as well as whiting.
