Luma Luma Holiday Apartments

We spent three weeks at Luma Luma late last year. The self contained rooms are great, clean, little balcony with a view. The cleaning staff are wonderful as are the reception and management. Nice pool at a perfect cool off temp and so close to town, win win. Thanks team at Luma luma for a nice stay.

rooms are OK comfortable beds. the shower pressure sux felt like little drips ok for short stays

I could NOT recommend Luma Luma1) We booked a deluxe 2 bedroom apartment, nothing like their web page, was actually 2 separate rooms (505 & 506)2) Minimal amenities.3) Management NIL customer service skills4) We could NOT stay in room 505 exceptionally small NO amenities/tv/chairs/kettle5) After 2 nights we upgraded" to 2 standard rooms at an EXTRA cost to US of $200/per night. Had us over a barrel

The bed was firm and comfortable but it stops there...we only stayed one night and they blew their chance to impress! The room was infested by small cockroaches and very dated. We won't be coming back or recommend this place.

Good staff, friendly and helpful. Good location, near shops, restaurants, grocery, park, mall.

We stayed for 4 nights & didn't have great expectations but we're pleasantly surprised. The room was outdated & in need of renovation but was otherwise great. The bed was big and comfy and we had an awesome balcony overlooking the Bay. The hotel is close to Mitchell St & Darwin Waterfront. The manager was happy to give us a late check-out when requested.If you want 5 star then you have to pay for 5 star!! We were happy with what we paid for & would definitely stay again.

We expected bottom of the barrel as everything booked out but were very pleasantly surprised. Spotlessly clean room, good location close to middle of town. Room presentation dated but no damage, roomier than expected, comfortable and everything worked well, car park provided, bit snug but worked fine. The pool was a big surprise, inviting and cool. Reception area bit ordinary but service could not be faulted. Clearly staff work well and hard to make it all work out.

After a few weeks in Remote Australia camping, the prospect of having hot showers, air conditioning and clean sheets was enticing. These were all achieved, however in a tired fit out with a dodgy stove with a really loose element and dangerous wiring in the kitchen light. Overall very serviceable, just tired and in need of some maintenance and minor upgrades.

A bit eeew!" for the price. The bed seems clean but the rest of the apartment seems questionable. The rooms are outdated but do have the basic necessities for an apartment. During check-in I got a "what are you doing here" vibe

The top sheet on my bed was clean but the one beneath it had not been changed from last customer. When I helped the cleaner change the pillows I found 3 dirty pillowcases inside the apparent clean one, and 2 inside the other. I watched the cleaner change bed and know why it had smelled stale, I'd been sleeping next to a child's urine patch on the bottom sheet and she still was only going to change the top one til I said something. Pool was lovely and clean, but I almost had to steal an extra towells to use it. She didn't want to supply an extra one for use in pool. There was also a dirty glass in my kitchenette, and no dishcloth, I had to ask for that at reception. When I complained about the dirty sheet, the reception couldn't care less.
