Dance 4 Life Canterbury

My husband and I went to Ali at Dance 4 Life studios to learn our wedding dance. She was great and taught us dance moves in a really simplistic manner! We loved that at the end of each class we filmed our parts so that we could go home and have a guide video for practice. She also choreographed our entire dance to a medley of four songs that we chose (which she cut and pieced together). I have a sister with a disability and Ali was amazing at teaching her some dance moves for the wedding as well. Would absolutely recommend going here, we had the best time!

My partner and I had lessons at Dance for Life for over a year and only left because we moved overseas, I wish we could have taken the studio with us! Ali and RJ have created a wonderful community and learning to dance with them is heaps of fun. There are many styles to learn from and the events are always a great time! We benefited from private lessons especially and the tailored learning really made it special for us.

Love Dance 4 Life Studios! I go for private lessons where I get to focus on my favourite dance style at a pace that works for me, and where I can ask all the questions. RJ is great; he breaks everything down so I can practice each element and master it. And group classes with Ali are a lot of fun too - zoom classes have been a real life saver throughout all of lockdown.

Always a joy to be in class or at my private lessons. RJ and Ali complement each other very well during lessons making it easy to understand and enjoy!

I really enjoy the group classes at Dance 4 Life. You get to partner with a variety of different people who all approach dancing in their own way, which helps you better understand your own dancing capabilities.Personally, I enjoy both the physical and mental challenge of learning a new step or technique and then putting that into practice, along with the sense of pride and satisfaction when I finally nail it.I've been learning most of the styles on offer and Ali and RJ are great teachers, whose abundance of knowledge and experience are readily apparent. But they're also just genuinely lovely people and always willing to explain anything if I have any questions. It's a lot of fun!

Having now reached retirement years, Dance4Life has been a wonderful way of keeping fit and remaining socially active. Great staff and very empathetic to our requirements. I would highly recommend Dance4Life to people of all ages.

I love my time at Dance 4 Life! Ali and RJ are supportive and knowledgeable as teachers and I enjoy every minute of my classes. Group classes are particularly fun and it’s great to socialize with the other students. Highly recommend D4L!
