We bought fish and chips for 2 adults and 2kids fish was very freshcost us $ 19 not bad at allcustomer service was good and very quick

Had a good Hawaiian burger and chips here. So good in fact, went back a couple of days later and bought the same thing for the whole family...

Fish cocktails the size of a piece of fish anywhere else,And cheap.Worth driving for 45 minutes to have a good feed

Have ordered from here a few times. Potato scallops, burgers,mozzarella sticks and chips are all great. The chips are the best I've had in a long time.Love the new beach items for sale near the door too.

About 12:50pm on Monday 30th January 2023, my partner and I called this store to order something for lunch.Upon explaining our order to the lady over the phone she informed us severral times that the chicken burger only had lettuce and mayo. We explained to her several times that we understood that and all we wanted to do was add a few things to the burger and minus the mayo.She could not for some unknown reason understand this and was extremely rude. At one point she put us on hold to serve another customer, she then spoke to us again saying “do you know what you want now?”. Upon telling her “You’re just not taking our order” she then became even more rude as we were trying to explain what we wanted.The conversation ended when she finally got our order right and then before we could ask how much this would cost and how long the wait would be, she hung up.Upon arriving at the store about 10-15 min later she tried to explain what she was saying over the phone however upon saying we understood and that we were just simply editing the burger she eventually put up her hand and said “don’t worry about it” whilst walking away into the back of the store. My partner asked her how long it would be and how much it was going to cost and she said it was ready now but then it wasn’t as she then came back out to say “they are just putting the burger together”We then paid for our food and a few moments later she came out and handed our food to us.The lady in question was a much older lady with medium length reddish hair and appeared to not know anything about customer service or even how much any of the food cost.We ordered a medium chips along with this burger which we said to have chicken salt and gravy but when we got in the car and checked our food the chips did not have chicken salt on them.Safe to say we won’t be coming back.- Jamie & Sam

Omg the hamburgers are fantastic.The customer service was fantastic.Definitely the best hamburger and well worth the drive.

Spotless takeaway with the best fish and chips in the district. Freshly cooked to order, generous portions, clean oil, friendly service, great value - been a fan for years and will keep coming back :-) They used to also sell groceries but have rejigged the store to expand the range of icecreams, drinks, sandwiches, snacks and beachy items you may have forgotten or lost, like thongs and sarongs.

NegativeWaited easily 20 minutes for food. This was admitadly at peak time of 12ish so precisely when everyone is wanting food.The number of people waiting doesn't fully represent the whole queue as most regulars/locals ring ahead. When i was waiting, this was half the orders being filled. So double the amount of people you could see!PositiveOrdered Hoki and chips and calamari rings and chips. I personally dont like the basa as its got a slimy texture so always go for Hoki if I can.Food was good!Decent amount of chips. I was told chips have a coating so they brown up and crisp up. You could detect a granular texture on outside of chip. It was fine as a one-off, but i dont think I would like it as a regular thing. This is not unique to here. I have detected this on other chips I have had elsewhere.Fish was not massive but adequate. The calamari was probably the pick and would order it in preference to the fish.All in all it cost about $25 for both meals.Parking is easy right out the front.I would call ahead next time and ask how long until ready to avoid standing around so long waiting.

Probably had the best burger in years from this take away shop, amazing! The coffee is also fantastic. The ladies who were serving me were also extremely friendly, helpful and polite. If I ever come back down this way I will 100% be returning! Thank you so much!

Very long wait & food was average dirty cooking oil & fish wasn't very hamburger was ok & got nuggets wif our chips we didn't order them
