That Bargain Place

I've faced some hard times in my life. My dog, tucker, ran away from home when he was 16. Never saw him again. My dad, Rudolpho, walked out on me when I was 6, back in again when I was 6, then out again, then back in. Turns out he was buying me presents from this store. We never had much when I was a child, but we always had a bargain. I loved that dog, especially when he came home from his walk on his 16th birthday. Anyway, I guess what I am trying to say is that life is about lessons, and the lesson I have learned is that this place provides a bargain. Two thumbs up.

The staff member at the counter was rude to us when my daughter picked up a ball, and despite buying 6 items, waited to the last minute and watched us struggle to carry everything to offer and then to charge is 15c for a bag. If you don’t like people or tourists, don’t own a retail store

This emporium is fun to explore, especially with its seasonal and holiday-specific, and sometimes quirky offerings.I myself frequently buy candles from their enormous range at affordable prices.Buddy, my dog, especially loves their big, stuffed toys once they’re on sale, of course!What’s more, local artists are offered a brilliant selection of high quality tools, media, and materials - from well-known brands at most reasonable prices.It’s also the go-to place for basic hardware along with kitchenware and gadgets; things like ramekins, which can be hard to find and expensive. This is the destination for buying last minute things for a dinner party or picnic.The staff are all lovely and very helpful.AM

Staff were very friendly and helpful to get me everything I needed. Plus the place is massive, so much stuff to see, and just when you’ve seen it all, there’s more to see. Also the tidiest $2 shop I’ve ever seen

Great shop. Has a fabulous range and great art supplies.

Massive range of stock. They have saved me many a long drive to Ballarat. The staff are lovely too.

Only store in about 5 towns I looked at which sells glow sticks, cheap prices and friendly staff too
