used to be good, now has bad food selection, tastless, look warm with bad/ cheaap ingredients. They used to have yummy lamb chops, tasty curries, fresh noodles but no more. on a plus the staff are friendly

Feast Buffet @ Village Green Hotel
It was a busy day & go here often but I think they need do organise it better so not a long queue to wait for food.The plates are at the beginning of where the soups so you have to queue just for a plate otherwise you look like you are pushing in.If plates were kept central you wouldn't have such congestion & then people could other food that's not as popular at the other end. Then we were told shutting at 3pm but stood waiting for food most of that time.I'm sure this can be organised better.

One of the better all you can eat buffets around. So many great options and all well made if you are looking for an easy dinner. I always grab a bit of lasagna and that never disapoints. The seafood section gives great prawns and salad. Drinks are well made and I recommend the lemon lime and bitters. Lots of cake options for desserts to please everyone.The negatives...Book ahead if you plan for a weekend evening dinner buffet as it does sell out.Expect a bit of a wait to grab a table as the entry is mainly manned by only 2 people, so takes a little while to get through the doors.Patience pays off though and is well worth the wait.

Hi feast buffet,Thankyou for the chance to review our dining experience with you.My friend and I have been coming to the buffet for many many years ...however we are so disappointedthe last two times that we wont probably come back again ,We decided to come to the 11 30 sitting because we want to avoid late afternoon traffic.The food was barely warm both times ....the calamari was too chewy this time and in the past your crumbed calamari rings were always delicious but not yesterday or the time before and there wasnt much there as well.The pumpkin was almost cold both times .....as was the mash that I tried .The queue for the buffet was very very slow because the way in where the soup is was closed off and we had to wait while people dithered over what they wanted .....The staff were great , cannot fault the service at all . the plates were cleared promptly and staff were friendly.Its the food thats letting you down. Needs to be heated much better these days ...was always hot in the past but last two times its been almost cold ....and its not being replenished well either ...the salmon in the sauce could also have been hotter and replenished ...by the time I got to it there was only two small pieces left.We did give it the benefit of the doubt and come back after the disappointment of the previous time but unfortunately it really hadnt improved so I guess thats it for us.The hot desserts were delicious except the custard was too runny ...needed to be thicker . The butterscotch and the chocolate sauces were beautiful.

Typical fast filling buffet eats…bread, pasta, saucy foods etc. the beef was so tough, it was inedible and more suited as dog food. The pork was not bad though…but the crackling is roasted skin only and lacks the flavour of crackling which has had the fat rendered beneath it. The calamari was probably the best offering.Went with my son and he said it was “pig food”.Well, that pretty much sums it up!At $42/head, we will certainly chalk it up as an expensive “experience” and never to be done again.

Went to the 7.30pm seating on Mothers Day for dinner. Long queue to get in and by that time it was around 7.50 before we were even seated. An employee came to our table at around 8.45pm to let us know that they would be closing soon. Anyway unfortunately found most food was bland and lacking flavour and all tasting the same. Roast beef was so tough and simply unedible. Roast pork was way too salty and the crackling was dry and rock hard which made it inedible too unless you wanted a broken tooth/teeth. Potato in everything was horrible and glue like texture. A lot of the fried foods were dry and overcooked. The desserts were nice and the prawns were lovely. Food needs to be cleaned up when some people unfortunately drop it everywhere on the servery area. It looks messy and unclean otherwise. Staff need to smile. It makes all the difference and it is simply not that hard. Overall we were very disappointed with the food and probably won’t be coming back.

had a nice dinner but a bit disappointed was the floor was a bit dirty with foods scraps which should be clean but that is okay as it can be clean when the shifts end. beside that lots of variety of foods and there is a bottle of free water but bars are there to get alcohol and soft drinks at a reasonable price

Terrible, rip off, went for dinner during the week the carpet had chicken bones and not been vacuum a least a week, the roast were like rubber . For 42 bucks there should have coffee and tea available its extra cost,.no service to table to clear and clean just staff sitting at entrance tacking money.Food star Frankston 32 dollars nice food and service at least they come to the tables and remove dirty dishes and the carpet is cleain no food scrap or chicken bones.
