On recently moving to the area I needed to find a new vet for my two beautiful and treasured dogs. I found The Lake Vet. I choose them as they have 3 locations at Swansea, Belmont and Charlestown and it is always possible to get in quickly when I need to. The Vets move between the 3 locations and I have been very satisfied with each one I have dealt with. The staff are all really friendly and super helpful and have an obvious love of animals. I highly recommend them and have already connected close friends to them.We have not only had the usual yearly visits but my cavoodle recently under went cruciate ligament surgery. The care and support they gave her was excellent and the recommendations to assist her recovery were great. She is now doing so well. We have also used the behaviourist to assist with dogs that are anxious and need some management strategies put in place to help both the dog and its owner. This was wonderful and they come out to your home to see how everything works. This combined with some medication has made such a difference to my little cavoodle.I can't recommend them highly enough.

We had 2 lovely lady's come to our house to have our old dog put to sleep, they were wonderful, kind and compassionate.

Great staff :) Very kinda and paitent with my very scared dog. Spent time playing with him before and after testing. Results straight away and very informative and helpful staff.

My animals have visited this veterinarian clinic in the past and received good care, however I do find their prices higher then other vets. The reason for the 2 star rating is because every time I call the clinic it's always unattended, extremely hard to get a hold of.

I came in with what I thought was a baby ringtail possum which I had been hand feeding every 2 hours for 6 days as his eyes had only just opened. The nurse took one look and said it was just a wild mouse". He was having breathing difficulties and I asked if there was anything they could do. Instead of assistance

Quite poor service from both the receptionist and the Vet. Better off going to Belmont practice.

Friendly staff. I am very greatful to the support from Vet Alison and staff for the recovery on my dog.
