Beautiful place! Probably the w most beautiful Japanese garden in Sydney, the lovely couple took 16 years to build everything, and they are still building it to make it even better, will definitely come back when it snow

Visited this garden late April. The amount of work and dedication that has gone into the creation of this lovely space needs to be acknowledged. The owners are continuing to develop this garden so I know it will only improve with age. The colours were stunning, variety of plants and attention to detail in the shapes and pruning admirable. Would definitely recommend a visit in Autumn,

I love this place, so peaceful, quiet and so pretty. The owner took time to explain her garden, you can see she has so much passion and pride of her work. The entry fee is worth it! We also bought a plant home.

Visit the garden by a random chance, but it turns into a wonderful journey of the day. The hosts are friendly and knowledgeable. The scenes are vivid reflections of Japanese garden culture. The photos could give you a hint of the feeling of the garden. Your visit will definitely provide you with more.

The scale and location are fantastic. However, if you've ever visited gardens in Japan you may be underwhelmed by this one. Missing the quintessential Japanese Black Pines. $20 per person.

I think highly of the amount of effort the owners have put towards creating a beautiful garden. We had a chat to Margaret prior to exploring the garden, she was very friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed hearing their story and the different types of maple and formations in regards to the garden. It was such a wonderful experience and can’t believe it exists in the heart of Hartley. Thank you Margaret and Alan, would love to visit again!

Very impressed by the effort and detail put into these gardens, it was fascinating hearing about them from the owner himself and would love to come back again when the cherry blossoms bloom in October :)

Signs upon entry and too small and unclear. We drove on the driveway which took us to the owners house and she was not happy. I apologised several times and i said we hadn't been here before so we were unsure where to go and even after that she was still quite rude. After returning back down the driveway without damaging anything as we turned really slowly we entered the park paying $20.00 each and walked the grounds. There is defiantly some beautiful plants, trees and artifacts to see but not worth the money. My hubby is in landscaping and also works in a Japanese garden which has free entry and is well taken care off unlike this garden, it is very neglected with over grown plants and unclear paths to walk on. We will not return

Dropped by on a whim and was one of the best experiences of our stay in blue mountains. The views were a masterpiece carefully crafted by the owner with over 25 years of love and labour poured in. Carefully sourced structures directly from Japan and exact measurements of rock distances, hand picked from the quarry, to replicate famous gardens in Japan. 100% a must visit when stopping by in blue mountains.

Really nice; the garden is about 10-15 years old and still maturing. Great location to visit, the gardens have a good feel to it of peace and tranquility. The gardens are being improved all the time.
