Long overdue review: Jason and the team brought my Pathfinder back to life after it died 20 mins outside of Bowen. The team were nothing but accommodating to us and special thanks to Dave for being our local guide while we were stranded in Bowen.

Very impressed with the service.Saw them on a Wednesday before Easter booked in first up Thursday. Repaired the exhaust and found a brake problem which could have caused real problems.Fixed that also.Very fair with their prices. Can recommend. Many thanks.

My son broke his sway bar link arm we couldn't get it anywhere but these guys came to his rescue and had a brand new one now he is back on the road and able to go to his job safely thanks guys, they also do a great job on mechanical repairs and very knowledgeable

After spending $2600 at a certain mechanic in Mackay my wife and I were on our way to cairns only to get about 40 minutes up the highway and the aircon stopped working and I thought that’s weird so I turned it off and continued on our way only to get another hour up the road to find the car overheating so pulled over concerned and upset that the car had broken down after we spent so much money to get it road worthy and fixed so called RACQ to drop us off at jasco automotive. Had to spend the night in the car. With no booking after telling Jason and the boys what happened they got stuck in straight away to find the problem. Jason and the boys professionalism understanding, customer service and workmanship was absolutely outstanding they fixed the problems and got us back on the road. Jason even helped me convince the other mechanic in Mackay to pay the bill who was trying everything to avoid taking responsibility and paying for his mistakes. Highly highly recommend Jasco Automotive 100% THE BEST MECHANIC IN THE BOWEN AREA HANDS DOWN!!

We were travelling through Bowen, our campervan had been having issues for weeks, and we had seen other mechanics, who could never really find the root problem or they were charging us for services, and the van wasn’t improving.Jason fitted us in consecutive days in a row (and at the last minute) to find the root cause of our issues, which he did! Jason and the other mechanics at Jasco were very generous with their time, answered any questions we had and ensured we understood what was going wrong with our van. He is a very knowledgeable mechanic, and his services are very reasonably priced, the only bad thing is that we don’t live in QLD so won’t be able to regularly go back! Thank you to the team at Jasco Automotive, we called last night asking for help to repair a broken airbag mount and Jason told us to come in first thing in the morning. The guys made us priority and helped us to get back on the road asap. Great customer service and friendly staff. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
