Probably one of the best hostel you can stay at in Australia, where you can feel at home so far from home. Thanks to Bec and Adam who are always there, doing their best to help find a work or anything else. I’ve been able to complete my 88 days there and I met some great people for sure! An experience that I never forget.

By far the best hostel I’ve stayed at in Australia. If you are looking to do your regional work then there’s no better place than Cambrai. Bec and Adam do everything they can to look after you and find you work, and really make you feel like part of their family. After a long day at work it’s a great feeling knowing you’re going back to the hostel and there’s a reason why it’s so popular and also why so many people stay longer than their 88 days. The best experience I could have ever imagined. I was dreading farm work and was put at ease the moment I arrived at Cambrai hostel. Bec and Adam treat you like one of their own. They set you up with work, go out of their way to ensure you feel like you’re at home and give great recommendations of things to do on your day off.The hostel itself is lovely, the private couples bedroom is the nicest I’ve ever seen in a hostel. The hostel has a bar, pool table, lounge and lovely front garden.It is a great place to make friends and is only 3hours via public transport from Melbourne. It says it all that most people stay 3+ months some even over a year. You will not regret staying here!

best working hostel you will find in australia!! i lived here for almost two years working in a farm and yeah most of the people will call me crazy for spending two years here but if u stay here u will understand…let me explain, the hostel is always clean, the owners are the most lovely people in the world. they really treat you as a member of their own family…so many times they took care of me when i got sick, upset, had car problems or anything else. they really make me feel as safe as when i was home. i got the chance to meet so many amazing people here (locals and backpackers) sharing beers with live music on weekends… i will definitely be back someday in this hostel. it is like my second home in this world :D.Thank you so much mum and dad to allow me to spend all this beautiful moments in your wonderful place! Thank u for all the care u gave me in the last two years…i will always keep u in my heart!

If you’re looking to complete your regional work and/or save money then Cambrai Hostel is the best place to do so- we stayed here for just under 4 months and loved every second of it!Bec and Adam go above and beyond for everyone who stays here and will help you find work as soon as you arrive- we had a job on a dairy farm within 2 days of arriving with other people getting jobs even sooner. The jobs are found through contacts of Bec and Adam so they can ensure everything is above board and you’re treated well (unlike other working hostels we’ve heard of in Australia).Cambrai Hostel is the perfect place to complete your regional work whilst also making great friends and memories. They keep in touch with everyone who stays and look after you like family. A home away from home.

Best hostel and place to do your farm work in Australia hands down! Adam and Bec helps you out with everything you need and the hostel makes you feel like part of a family. Great atmosphere and a great time!

I stayed at Cambrai hostel for over 2 months and loved it! Bec and Adam are absolutely brilliant, always willing to go above and beyond to help anyone out. They had me set up with a job on a dairy farm within days of arriving, meaning I could start ticking off my 88 days immediately.The hostel has everything you need and there’s plenty going on to keep you entertained in the evenings. If you’re looking for somewhere to save some money and/or get your regional work done, this is the place to be.

I don’t even know where to start with describing Cambrai - it’s the most homely & welcoming place I’ve ever been! Bec & Adam are phenomenal… so genuinely caring and so much fun. I made friends for life in those I worked & lived with as well as with Bec & Adam. Always so many events on at the hostel that it’s a very social-able place to be.Rooms are spacious & the hostel itself is kept so clean and feels homely - it’s a 10/10 place. I should know, I planned to stay a few weeks and stayed for 5 & a half months!Would recommend it to anyone & would happily come back again.
