Escape Brewing

It’s great to see a new establishment on the peninsula. The ambience is commensurate to the location, however the quality of food was far from what we expected, especially after seeing nothing but 5 star reviews. There are a lot of opportunities for the kitchen to improve their food as the quality can’t be justified by the price.

Thanks guys for a fantastic 60th last night. It was so much fun, great beer, excellent pizzas and a really informative insight into the whole beer brewing process. I love beer again! You guys know how to host a party!

Escape Brewing is a newcomer to the blossoming Victorian brewery scene, down in the beautiful Mornington Peninsula.Nestled in the industrial estate of Capel Sound, between Rosebud and Tootgarook, Escape offers an expansive warehouse space with plenty of room to enjoy a beer or few with some delicious homemade pizzas or a bowl of chips for something a bit lighter.Manning the helms of this family business are Russ (also the head brewer) and his lovely wife Nicole, who are more than up for a friendly chat on their offerings.Tapped beers on offer include their Local Lager, which was clean and crisp, a wide variety of hoppy ales; a couple of Pale Ales - one of which was an easy drinking middy - an XPA and a malty, chewy Red IPA.A Belgian Golden Strong, Chocolate Porter rounded off their offerings for the day.At this stage there are only a handful of beers available in takeaway but will soon have a lot more available as production ramps up.If beer isn't your thing then a local cider and some local wines are also available for you.I have no doubts you'll enjoy what Escape Brewing has to offer when you're looking to leave the grind of the big city and relax a little on your way down the peninsula, and according to Russ, that his reason as to why this business exists.Cheers and have a beer for me.

Delicious beers and so many games to play! We had a blast hosted by Russell enjoying a wide varieties of home crafted brews, from Red IPA's to a unique batch of Jalepeno infused ale. Already looking forward to our next visit.

This is a hidden gem. Fairly new, large, spic and span, Taphouse that serves simple, yet tasty, food. The beers cater for all tastes and are high quality.

Family friendly brewery! Good food, great bears and a super helpful owner and staff that were so accommodating.Basketball ring, cornhole, domino's and a huge space for the big and little kids.We will definitely be back soon.

An escape to craft beer heaven. Very friendly team. A very good selection of beers that actually tasted like they should. Very tasty pizza, crunchy chips. Good atmosphere. A visit that had everything on point. A must visit for anyone looking for a relaxing arvo that includes good beer.

Dropped into this newly opened brewery to try a paddle and it didn't disappoint. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors with activities like pool table, basketball hoop & bean bag toss. Husband enjoyed the beers and good non-beer options for me.Has a kitchen with pizzas amongst other things, we had already eaten.Support local and head down to check this great new brewery out.
