City Beach - Parramatta

Very unfortunate experience. Order from her all the time, but the moment you wish to return an item they quote all these terms and conditions on their website which mention return shipping costs, to how the tax invoice they send is incorrect should an offer be applied and the refunded amount for the amount can result in 50% of the item cost purchased at.Terms and conditions in the offer emails sent are also not present, only a link redirecting to their website which may have abundant information not applicable to that particular offer.It’s a way to mislead and misguide customers and not clearly mentioned. I paid 50 dollars for shoes and im now out of pocket by 25 dollars.Worst part, the customer service team has no intent to help you. The website makes it seem it’ll be so easy, but al their customer service team says “we apologise for the inconvenience caused, but we can’t help you” which is a sugar coated no. And when asked to speak to a manager, they tell me to email their general customer service inbox which may as well go to the agent I spoke to in the chat in the first place.Very unhappy.

nice clothes but the staff need to shut up and acknowledge the massive line before having a 10 minute gossip chat with a friend. they also need more than one register available because I waited for 15 minutes in line.

i occasionally pop in to check out the range of shoes, they have a good assortment of colours and sizes too.women’s clothing is pretty good, but could offer more variety in different brands?also, the bikini sizes are too small?, like that’s great for some girls/women, but surely you could have more quantity for sizes 14-16 and also the cup size itself could be larger?anyway the customer service is ok sometimes, don’t get approached these days in this shop, not even a hello-but used to back in the day.

Went in there today, went to try a watch on as I’m taking the watch off the watch buckle went flying the band was not the best quality as soon as I picked it up. Was told by management to take extra care and that I should’ve had the staff member remove the watch from my wrist (who was standing right next to me from the beginning). Shouldn’t your staff member know the store policy when customers want to try things on. I wanted to buy another watch and asked them to tighten it to which she responded that they wouldn’t do it when I’ve bought watches from the company previously and there have never been any issues to get it tightened. The store was upside down and really unorganised with no one knowing where anything is. Your “manager” is obviously running a circus.

I went in today to browse and these two amazing ladies were extremely helpful!, one had helped me with my sizes and the other had helped me find the items I was after aswell as even showing me the sales going on, I went from buying one thing to a few items, the manager that was there was very helpful with the training of the new counter lady as she helped and explained very detailed instructions towards the employee they even informed me about a mystery discount city beach is currently offering and I was able to get my items on discount. This was a very enjoyable experience with the teams new way of customer service from past times shopping with city beach!

Went in with my friend to buy some clothes. Picked a few up to try on, as I was unclothed in the change room, a burgundy haired clerk (seemed to be the manager) moved the curtain and stuck her hand in while asking if I needed help. I understand it's your job to ask if customers need assistance, but I'm obviously fine and in the change room for a reason. I feel so violated and exposed. When I walked out of the change room I also noticed that she was also rude to her coworkers. Shout out to the ladies who helped me pick out stuff Alex and Gi, they went out of their way to check stock for me and help me find the sizes that I need.

Went to city beach at Parramatta Westfield, and I was stopped at the front door and handed an iPad and told if I joined their loyalty club I would get a 20% discount on today’s purchase, so I obliged. Picked out several items to purchase and got to the register to be told that I wouldn’t get the discount and that I would need to get a membership bar code which could take days. Very cold reception at the checkout by staff, almost like got another one haha. False and misleading I would say.

Never received any service. Was waiting for abit while they finished they’re conversation. The manager finally acknowledged that I was waiting and asked “you alright”… not even a hello? Or sorry to keep you waiting. Absolute ZERO SERVICE. Manager had so much attitude not only towards customers but towards her staff from what I observed. Disgusting!

Hard to find many of these beach lifestyle stores these days, great to see its still successful. Everyone looks past the level of customer service you receive here, the staff love helping the customer that walk in and tend to go above and beyond to make sure, you're happy with your purchase. Highly recommended, its a great shopping experience.
