An excellent experience dining at Griddle Restaurant last night. I booked for a table of 34 after a full day of rowing at the local regatta. 34 hungry humans arrived and not one left disappointed. The staff at Griddle were welcoming, friendly and professional.All of our meals arrived at a similar time. They were all cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. With a dozen hungry teenagers in the mix that is an amazing achievement in itself. They loved their meals.Prices were great. The restaurant was clean and well presented. Wine selection was lovely. Atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable.Nothing was a problem for the staff and we couldn’t be more grateful.We will definitely be back next time we travel down from Queensland for a regatta.Thank you for having us.

I've been here a few times and it's usually a great experience but last night our meals took over half an hour to arrive. They seemed to prioritise deliveries and customers who arrived after us.They did give us a free round of drinks, though, so that was nice.

They have a huge range of meat options to choose from, not sure if they have vegan or Vegetarian options as I am not that way inclined. I had a 500g grass fed rump steak and my wife had a jillaroo chicken they were both amazing. The service was great and will definitely be going back. Update I have returned for a 2nd meal I had the 1.1 KG TOMAHAWK RIB EYE BONE IN. It was wonderful.

I ordered porterhouse 300g steak lunch special with my wife last Friday , to be honest , not sure why the meat is still pretty dry with the medium rare cooking I asked. I can’t complain more with the money we paid for lunch special (steak + mocktail $29.9 per person), but I can see the same steak on the dinner menu come with $38.95 by itself , definitely not recommend to pay that much for meat like this.

I must say, I had heard about the steaks at this place, and I was not disappointed being my 1st time. There was a very large menu selection, but decided on the Grass Fed Scotch Fillet as medium, and it was perfectly cooked and melted in the mouth. It wasn't too much food which was good, just enough to go away fulfilled, chips hot and cooked well, a small side of salad, and Mushroom Gravey was good. There was plenty of other items on the menu that I want to try, so I will be back. The restaurant decor was lovely, the staff very attentive and everyone enjoyed their meals. Apparently the garlic sauce and the waffle dessert is good too.

I ordered a risotto but it was just plain boiled rice with sauce mixed in. It’s such a big overpriced menu and everything our table ordered looked like it was pre-made/ reheated or “cooked” from shortcuts despite it being a super quiet night. The staff try hard but still got an order wrong. The desserts were $15-$18 but definitely from a freezer… the only berry in the berry cheesecake was cottee’s strawberry sauce squirted on top…Here’s a pic of the lobster risotto with barely any pieces of lobster (definitely not fresh!) and random chunks of overcooked plain white rice.I’m shocked that this food has received some positive reviews - I would not recommend eating here at all!

Absolutely lovely restaurant.Took my husband here for his birthday in November and it was that good that we came back a week later for a family dinner with 18 people!!We have also booked my husband's work Christmas dinner here for next week and everyone is looking forward to it.The staff are amazing, very helpful and split the bill for 18 meals for our large family get together.I can't recommend the $55 set menu enough!!!3 courses for $55 and a terrific selection of entrees, mains and two dessert options.It's hard to find a good restaurant that cooks steak to perfection but Griddle Restaurant did just that.We will definitely be returning alot more!!

Thank you all for hosting our daughters wedding lunch yesterday, the meals and service throughout were first class, our Guests all commented on the standard of the meals and the amounts in their plates. Thank you Griddle for the quality of your service and to the Chef for our lovely menu choices. You have found some new local Customers and we would recommend your services to anyone wanting quality. Dropped in for Lunch Sunday amazing service, Great decor and a Chef that knows his stuff as varied as the menus is.A special thanks to the waitress that served us it made a lunch with my wife and busy daughter, effortless and fun.100% will return.
