Anytime Fitness Mascot

I put 4 stars but in truth it would have been 3.5 if given that option.I had been with anytime for about 10years before I moved to Mascot, I have since moved to an independently owned 24hr gym in the area. My review is based on primarily visiting between 4am and 6am.Cons:My honest assessment of this gym is that it is in-line with the other local 24hr fitness chains locally but with the convenience of being close to the station.The leg press pretty consistently had a 'do not put >80kg due to maintenance being required' sign on it.The price here is not far beyond other Anytime Fitness locations but it is quite small by comparison to a number of other locations - single cable row, single cable pulldown, pretty cramped dumbbell section.Pros:They did replace the aging deadlift platforms which were bowing when I first arrived.They are quick to respond to general enquiries and they were straight shooters when it came time to end my membership.Was always very clean and I always had access to spray and wipes for the equipment.There is a separate space for stretching/rolling/etc with a 5 person limit so I always had access to a couple empty metres to do a warm-up/cooldown.

Tried to join this gym and offered to pay upfront for 6 month! The gym manager is so useless and said no we can’t do that. I couldn’t hold my laughter! Like seriously? You are willing to let a new client go away coz your policy is no upfront payment. Her response was that’s the way it is ok bye. I actually think they need to give her adequate training. It will be shame to see this gym get shut down.

Terrible gym, small, old machines, stinks, no parking… well, nothing good at all.

Nice place parking after 6pm on main street is free, gotta be early to get parking. I was there from 10pm and was ample parking.

I understand they're currently understaffed but the current staff on duty don't take complaints or member's safety seriously. I personally don't think this particular staff member would care one bit if one of the members were to get injured. Disappointing.

I joined this Gym recently to support a friend of mine trying to lose weight. I've dealt with several members of staff and they've all been fantastic. At peak times it does get quite crowded but never so bad I couldn't use the Gym.The Precor equipment is fantastic and I find the Preva app which tracks my workouts to be very useful. I was hoping my fitbit versa would interact better to give me an accurate heart rate during cardio sessions but if it does I can't work out how.Overall this is a very good Gym to join!

I wanted to join a Gym which is close to where I work and the Joining Fees which some Gyms charge put me off, a friendly man handing out flyers yesterday told me about the $0 joining fee promotion for Wednesday and I will probably consider signing up, as my office is only a couple blocks away from this Anytime Fitness. I hope you will consider extending this offer! Does your facility provide adequate facilities to accommodate a booming area of the South East? I want to get myself back in shape in time for Summer. Thanks

Clean and has everything you need. Dumbbells need sorting out though.
