Really lovely place. Jeremy and the team do everything they can to make you feel comfortable and at home with each visit. They dedicate their time to you only, rather than float between customers like so many places do. The products they use are gentle and great for my hair. And they are never shy with giving their honest advice on what they know will look great on you. I spent years looking for a good hairdresser who can handle thick curly hair, and aura has exceeded all my expectations in every way. I get complimented on my hair wherever I go and Ive never been happier with the way my hair looks.

I've now been a customer for over a year and I couldn't recommend these guys highly enough! I had a terrible experience at Portfolio Hair in Crows Nest and when I called Aura I was scheduled in with Lauren to fix my hair.I used to live in Wollstonecraft and their salon was a 2 minute walk from my house - I now live in North Ryde and will continue to travel there to see Lauren rather than find another hairdresser close by. Only problem" is that they get so busy and it can sometimes be difficult to get an appointment that suits you

Jeremy is the best! My coarse, unruly hair has bested many a stylist but it's no match for Jeremy's skills. Knowing my hair is going to look great week after week is such a confidence booster. This family-run salon is always warmly welcoming and professional, without the 'attitude'.

This is a fantastic hairdresser. A lovely family run business in Crows Nest/ Wollstonecraft. Lauren does an amazing job on my hair and always welcomes me with a glass of wine or a nice tea/coffee. Would highly recommend this to friends and family.

I have been coming to Aura for years. I had searched for years to find the perfect salon. Everyone in the team are amazing and go beyond to ensure you look spectacular every time. More recently I moved up to the Gold Coast where I was reminded how truly amazing they are. I now travel from the Gold Coast to Sydney to get my hair done. I recently had a family wedding on a Friday afternoon which required a couple of hours travel to the venue, so I needed an early morning hair appointment for styling so I could get to the church on time!My usual hairdresser was away and all other avenues were not aligning with timing or availability.Thankfully, I received a last minute recommendation from the ever stylish Nadi from Nadi's Bridal Alterations.I got in touch with Lauren at Aura who was simply wonderful. She listened to what I was hoping to achieve given the wedding was being held way out west in a 35 degree + day with very high humidity and was happy to help with an early morning appt. Plus she was warm and friendly, putting me at ease right away.Her styling was effortless and sophisticated and held in place all day and night. I haven't felt so glamourous in such a long time and received many compliments on the day.Having never met before, Lauren exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend her.

I don't trust any other salon in Sydney! I have been going to Aura to see Jeremy and Lauren for 8 years and I NEVER miss my 6 weekly appointments. Lauren is a colouring expert and Jeremy is the only person I trust with scissors. My long locks look amazing everytime I leave the salon and the entire team have taught me how to care for my hair. Jenny keeps the salon running smoothly and I love every minute of time spent at Aura. They know exactly what I am going to drink the minute I take a seat and their service is second to none.
