This studio has such a great vibe. I always feel so welcome, like I’m part of the family and I stay longer than my appointment, drinking tea, chatting and enjoying the great company.It’s also the only actual dreadlock studio in Adelaide in a physical store, which means they have a full range of services such as hair washing, deep cleans and all I possibly need to keep my locks in great condition!The shop is awesome too, do yourself a favour and check it out. Sustainable. Ethical. Local.

Amazing work! Rae-Anne is truly a dreadlock engineer, if its installation, maintenance, wraps, fixes, extensions etc. I can not recommend her enough, she is the only person in Adelaide doing her method of deadlocking which keeps them long and lush and she is very nice to talk to!

Came in for dreadlocks, came out with a technique used to make dreadlocks that is personally in my view from hindsight that is not suitable to use on 'Anglo-saxon' hair. Expensive service compared to other locticians. Follow up service was missed leaving even longer between sessions while my hair was getting worse. Almost shaved my hair as a fix to the mess I was left to palm roll for the next 12 month and monthly maintenance and hope that I would magically start to get the dreads I was hoping for.Possibly not patient enough for the three sisters 'locking' method but also feel happy with my dreads after going elsewhere and got my I originally wanted.Wish the people of Tribal Spiral the best for the future and any one looking for dreadlocks to really consider if the technique is right for you.

Very happy with my dread locks I went to Tribal Spiral Dreadlocks very green had the process explained to me professionally, My dreadlocks are nearly 6 months in and are looking great, I’m am very happy. One of the best ways to spend my day is hanging out with Rae Anne, in that beautiful little shop, seeing all the members of the community pop in to say hi.. hearing about how the shelters going. i always leave feeling so calm and looking so good!
