Snowy Valley Jindabyne
The room wasn’t pretty clean and the heater, shower and TV wasn’t working. We had to walk down to the pool in about -1° degree to have shower. The staff was quite nice and helpful. Breakfast is limited. You can eat as much as you can. They give you a ticket for each day, so someone serve you with beans, one bread, potato and that’s it. A station of milk yogurt and cereals is also part of breakfast.

The rooms where cramped with people sleeping on mattress in the floor. The meals where extremely simple. There where no resort staff around. There is no way to get into town from the resort.

Giving this place 1 star is very generous. the place is filthy it needs sorting out asap. bedrooms are small I was in a 6 bed dorm and they had put an extra mattress on the floor making 7 people stay in 1 room. there was no room to open 1 suitcase never mind 7! I was there for 5 nights and barely slept due to the paper thin walls can hear what ever next door are doing. the shower would not stay at a reasonable temperature, either boiling hot or freezing cold. the heated pool looked like a bowl of soup. I could not even see the bottom step of the pool it looked like it had not been cleaned in months. the sauna was out of order. the food in the bistro was cold which you have to que up 30 minutes for. they have no shuttle into Jindabyne so if you have no car its a 2 hour walk each way and there are no taxis. I had a terrible stay here as well as most people I talked too.

The place is advertised as a resort but the opposite is true. It is more like a prison in a developing country. It is the worst place I have ever stayed in. All the reviews that talk about tiny rooms, shared bathrooms with rooms of 6 other people are not exaggerating. We booked what was supposed to be a triple room and it was a small room with 2 beds and a sofa bed that had no room to fold out if you wanted space to stand in the room. It was noisy at night. There was no kettle in the room, no soap in the bathroom, no towels, torn dirty carpet on the floor. When I moved the sofa bed there was rubbish underneath. The quilts were thin and of the poorest quality. To get breakfast you line up and they serve you bacon and eggs and hard toast. It is really prison like. The staff were nice and when we left one day into our three day stay because we couldn’t stand it anymore, I told the staff member thst I felt sorry for her working in such a dump. Oh and by the way, there is nowhere proper to park cars so people back them into the units so the exhaust fumes go into the rooms. Please do yourself and your family a favour and do not stay at this place.

Snowy Valley Jindabyne accommodation has seen better days. Our group booked the family room for 8 people. One main room, a smaller room with 2 bunk beds (no door for privacy) and bathroom. The bathroom comprised of a toilet and shower, so small that the hand basin is in the kitchen area. The room also features a tv, small fridge and head to the office for a kettle. Bedding all needs replacing pronto. On our 2 night stay, the hot water system broke down. Staff advised the only hot showers for the entire motel were in the pool area (yes, these were hot). Being the only hot showers available, they were in demand. The pool is also warm. The complimentary breakfast is basic and no coffee machine, only instant available.Good things were the staff seemed friendly and doing their best. As part of the package, we hired ski equipment and staff were patient with fitting us all out. There is a large deck with great views over the lake and township for photo opportunities. This is a budget motel, but I would advise spending a bit extra for accommodation in town. It is several minutes drive into Jindabyne.I did email the booking company direct after our stay. As yet, no reply received.

We booked without reading the recent reviews which caused us some angst. Just returned home from a great trip. We stayed in a family room which had 3 bunks and a trundle. It wasn’t 5 star but it was warm comfortable and 1/2 the price of what we paid in 2020. Breakfast was a buffet and couldn’t complain about it at all and I would highly recommend Snowy valley resort for the budget conscious family

If you read the reviews, do your research, set your expectations, taking into account that accommodation close to ski fields is sought-after and ridiculously expensive, I think Snowy Valley hit the mark for us. It was the perfect base and we slept well (brought our own pillows just in case). It’s “budget” by ski accommodation standards but we were warm and had a great view of the lake, everything worked. So on that basis, happy customers :)(Family room with own bathroom)

There was ONE toilet/shower/sink to share between 13 people and it was clogged for the entirety of the two days we spent there, even after asking to have it fixed. The bathroom was really dirty and gross, taps constantly dripping and hair strewn throughout the tiles on the shower. No one in our room (which we shared with strangers) was aware of the fact that we would be sharing a room with people we do not know. It was a really uncomfortable situation as we couldn't prepare for it. The staff were nice, guides were great and the snow was amazing. But the accomodation was literally the worst and I wouldn't recommend anyone stay there.

The room was clean, warm and dry. Beds were comfortable. Shared bathroom was clean and functional. This is not a 5 star hotel - but it is great value for money. The thing that really made it for me was the friendly staff and how they went out of their way to help us when our car had problems.

Would not recommend staying here, specially if you come through a snow trip agency.Rooms are old, bad maintained, and they're is one bathroom for 10 people, in most of the cases. So you can imagine the nightmare to take a shower after a long day in the snow mountains.I would recommend you gather your friends and rent a place in the area
