Worth while visiting this location for its tranquillity and the rewarding 360 degree view from the rock's summit. The massive rock could be termed Victoria's 'Uluru'. It is easy to ascend with care in dry weather, allow 15 minutes each way from the car park/picnic ground.

This is probably the best spot in the park.Easy walk to the top of the rock for a view over the whole region.Pay attention to the roads when driving to and from here, easy to make a wrong turn.

Mt Terrick Terrick Picnic Area
We were the only ones at the picnic spot that morning. We startled a Wallaby sitting in the shade of one of the granite boulders with the temp in the high 30's. The view from the highest boulder gave us a wonderful view of the farm-land below. We startled a large mob of kangaroos driving up the east boundary track from the cemetery track toward the Mologa-Echuca Road. They hopped over a high fence and into the park ahead of us.

Stayed overnight. Beautiful sunset. Watched lots of movement in the sky amongst the stars. When we got back home there was a huge hand print on the side window which dust had settled on. Do you believe in Yowies???

Good outlook. Can set to the top fairly easily. Lots of areas for kids to explore.

Nice firest area with lots of wildlife and a small hill to look around from. A few tables and a very basic toilet is available.
