Wagz Doggy Daycare&Grooming

Do not take your dog here. They are not dog people and they do not give proper care for your pup. They can't deal with dogs that have a personality and are not equipped to ensure your dog is having a good day. -1/10. Would not recommend.

Willis had never been to Doggy Day Care before today.He loved it.Thank you so much Wagz for looking after him, he had so much fun.

The previous owners were amazing, over the years we’ve had two dogs at wagz but not anymore . A few weeks ago our girl started showing a high level of anxiety after being at wagz. I later found she’d been sprayed with water as a discipline technique. How dare you ? We never gave you authority to do this . We trusted this business with our pup and they betrayed our trust, totally disgusting. Most of the original staff have left. I would no longer recommend this business .

After being highly recommended through family members, who have dogs that attend Wagz, my dog (8 months old), was not welcomed back. He is too “high energy” for the other dogs and they are unable to rest with him around. The first day I paid $52 (full day fee) for my dog to attend, only to be called after 2.5 hours to pick him up. The only excuse was he is too “adrenalised” and would be welcomed back once he settles out of his “puppy” period. After a conversation with the new owner, we decided that an afternoon session would be worth a trial. I dropped him at 1pm today and arrived back at 5pm for pickup, only to be told he isn’t welcome again. He’s too excited and doesn’t allow other dogs to rest. I was then charged another $39. I came home and he went straight to sleep and hasn’t stirred once. A shame that not all “dog types” are welcome.

Would not recommend this business. It’s gone completely down hill since the business has changed owners.

I wonder why the owner is implacable in her refusal to allow pet owners to see the play area where the dogs are during the day. She said it was not allowed because it would upset the dogs. Fair enough. I offered to come at 7am but she said the staff were too busy. I then offered to come at 6am when she says she arrives. No, she said, no exceptions. I asked if she would consider setting aside 10 minutes a month at 6 am, to give dog owners a chance to view the area before handing over their precious pets. She said she would consider this but refused to say when.Clearly, I was not about to leave my precious pooch under these conditions. I went to Loving Paws where I could both view the area and see my pup at play on her 1st day.Beware. Is there another more sinister reason for not allowing viewing of the area under any circumstances?I believe the current owner with whom I spoke has recently bought the business. Therefore, the reviews from a year ago were NOT of the present management.

I tried Wagz for the 1st time few days ago. I was anxious about having to leave my dogs in day care. Fortunately, the outcome was good. The wagz team was very reassuring and kept me posted on the progress of my dogs. I appreciated the team for being so patience and helpful. Thank you for being so caring and passionate .

Can't express how friendly and support the Wagz team are. Having a place I can trust to provide the upmost care for my puppy and going the extra mile to share daily photos and tire the beast out before snoozing at home has freed me up and lets me relax when I get home.Thank you Samantha, Kimmey, and the whole Wagz team!

Our labrador absolutely loves Wagz. She can't wait to get inside and would gladly spend every day here. All the staff are fantastic and I feel totally confident leaving our dog in their care, knowing she is loved, well looked after and happy.
