My aunt & I stayed here for 2 weeks and the service was topnotch. The staff were very accommodating & helpful. The place is always clean and the kitchen has everything you can possibly need. If you need a place to stay in Sale, Rivers is highly recommended.

My room in the motel is lovely, a great view, a clean room, and has everything that is needed.However, please note this is above a backpackers hostel, that’s not a bad thing, everyone seems really nice, everyone is having fun, but the loud music coming from downstairs can be a bit bothersome.I actually would join in the fun, but I’m so exhausted from my week down here, and all I want is to just rest. The music started at 0730 today on a Saturday.If you can, perhaps ask for a room towards the service station side of the complex. Yes, it’s less of a view but it gives you some rest away from the party atmosphere.

We loved the room. We couldn't fault it.This was our second stay & the entire process was seem less.Very comfortable bedsEverything we expected was supplied.We will certainly use the accommodation on our next trip

A little bit out of town centre. Rooms have been refurbished and provide a quiet clean and comfortable nights sleep with adequate warmth in the colder months. The host is friendly and very helpful with any questions regarding the local area. Has good WiFi for free and complimentary basic breakfast but rooms have toaster and microwave for convenience. Bathrooms are clean and fresh with great hot water pressure. Great place to stay whether passing through Sale or for workers accommodation. Ten minute walk from town centre.

Friendly and accommodating reception when we arrived to check in. Neat, clean, quiet and comfortable with a lovely view over the river. Great for overnight stay or for people sent to the area for work. I left a t-shirt hanging in the bathroom and called in the afternoon of checkout. Very helpful and will mail to me when found. We will be back again when travelling through the area.

Rivers Apartments & Motel Sale Gippsland
This is our second stay at River Apartments, the first time was relaxing but the second time was a lot of fun because we spent some time at the new club/beer garden/restaurant which was really enjoyable with great music and a wonderful atmosphere. This establishment also has a shop and bottle shop, what more do you need, everything is here. The staff are extremely friendly and the managers make you feel right at home. We love this place and the beds are very comfortable, which is hard to find in a motel these days. We can't wait to come back again and highly recommend River Apartments.

Easy check in and room nice and clean. Shower nice and hot and powerful but some shampoo and body wash bottles would have been handy. Other wise very nice.

Clean an tidy and moderately priced. The real strange part of the room is the entrance to the shower, which is very narrow and has a step which is over 300mm high. It is set up for disaster in trying to navigate a large step whilst squeezing through the gap

Check-in check-out process is super efficient and contactless. Clean and tidy. However, room is really small and lack some basic essentials such as tissue, hair dryer, shampoo.
