My mum, sister and myself planned a day of wedding dress shopping, it was the first time I had gone out and was so excited about what was to come. The first two shops we went to, had off the rack gowns that, to me, where the same as you see on every bride. I wanted something unique and that reflected my personality, that no one else could have. When we got to Galleria Couture and met Kevin, we immediately clicked, from the way Kevin explained the design process to his comments on materials, skirt structures etc. I knew that he would create an incredible dress. So that was it, I asked Kevin if he would make my dream dress, we cancelled the rest of our appointments and that was the end of wedding dress shopping.What was to come, was the most incredible experience I shared with my mum and sister for the next twevle months.... From my initial choice of dress (mermaid) Kevin made this structure our of calico material, only for me to decide I didn't really like the skirt on me, we made a few changes and each time we went back it was great chance for quality time with my mum and sister. Kevin made our appointments so enjoyable that it was something that we all looked forward to for the week. Once the dress structure was completed in the calico material, it was time to choose my material....I couldn't find anything i liked, that was individual and unique. I knew i didn't want your typical lace wedding dress, but i also didn't know what i wanted either. When i finally showed Kevin a picture i had found on Pintrest, that was it, we both knew that was the material i HAD to have. Kevin went above and beyond to locate and source this fabric. The lace was sources from Italy, then once it arrived we decided on how we wanted it beaded, then it was sent to India to be hand beaded with pearls and crystals.Designing and creating my dream wedding dress with Kevin was such an amazing process, that I ended up asking Kevin to make my sister (Bridesmaid) and mum's dresses for the wedding also, so they could experience the process and journey with me, together.All three of our dresses turned out more amazing than i could have imagined, each reflecting our personalities, whilst being comfortable to wear and on the day all three of us felt great, and looked great too!Kevin and Nicky came and dressed me the day of my wedding to ensure i was done up properly in my dress, my veil was in secure and that all our dresses were steamed so that we looked incredible. It was such a pleasure to have them share that moment with me to, not only are they the loveliest people, but having them there to see me in my wedding dress, with hair and make up done was rewarding for all of us after the incredible journey we had gone on for 12 months... designing, in my opinion, the most AMAZING wedding dress.I highly recommend Galleria Courture to any future brides out there. You will be in the best hands to ensure you have an amazing dress on the day. Pay Kevin and Nicky a visit as you won't be disappointed and from my experience, having a custom dress designed can be cheaper than buying one off the shelf from some Perth boutiques!

The idea, the style, an image, the WOW! This in a nutshell is what was wanted for the bridesmaids dresses and the outfit for the mother of the bride. How we were going to make this happen - we didn’t have a clue....We needed to find someone who would listen, understand, wave the wand and create the outfits that would compliment the bride’s dress - her mother’s 42 year old bridal gown.And so, fittingly, began the journey down memory lane and a visit to Kevin at Galleria Couture .The bride and Kevin go back to 2007 when Kevin designed and made her year 12 ball gown almost by proxy as she was on a student exchange trip and Kevin, after seeing a photo of her and having a vague idea of what she wanted, designed a dress. The day after arriving back in Perth we were at Galleria Couture fitting the calico, the colour and fabric sorted and a dream realised. The rest is history.Twelve years on history repeats itself. We meet with you, Kevin.... we chat, you listen, you take all our concerns on board....we live the couture experience and we own your creations....simple, easy, stunning!THANK YOU Kevin for taking on the task and creating the perfect mother-of-the-bride dress and the bridesmaids’ dresses.Just like that ... you “nailed it”! ...the colours were amazing, the attention to detail - especially the beaded detail on my dress simply stunning. Loved and indulged in the many compliments received. You truly are a legend!
