Steel City Boxing is without doubt one of the premier boxing gyms in Newcastle! Ash and his team of trainers balance perfectly the training requirements of the novice right through to the pro boxers. There perfectly designed training schedules ensure that EVERYONE'S fitness and skill based training needs are met in every session!I can't recommend SCB enough, especially if you have never boxed before... the supportive and friendly environment created by Ash ensures that everyone feels welcomed and valued! Definitely give it a try... you'll never feel better!

Still city is “the boxing gym”.The owner is a professional fighter and knows what he does, also the staff is very friendly and prepared.This is the right place for practice boxing as agonist or for get fit. There are classes available, pt sessions and kids classes. Customers are very friendly and happy to help you to improve. With time becomes a family.Highly recommend!

Went there as a first timer, feeling incredibly anxious but wanting to learn more about boxing and was made to feel welcome. Didnt get ignored by the trainers during the whole group class and got called by the right name. Won’t be coming back if they sell the skipping ropes because running is hard.

I've trained with Ash on and off for 20 years. When he made the move to Newcastle I had no doubt in my mind as to where I would be training.Ash is a true disciple of the fighting arts. I had the honour of training under him when he was fighting for (and won) his first world title. His dedication to his fighting career was met equally by his dedication to his students.If you're looking to learn how to defend yourself, for a career in the ring or just a place to train for a better you, come to SCB. You won't regret it

Brilliant training facility. The coach Ash caters to all skill levels ranging from beginners to pros and the gym has a friendly and welcoming culture to all who walk through the door.
