Link Vision Op Shop - Mitchelton

Thinking that an OP shop would be cheaper than a retail store for a poor mum like me would be an understatement. As I still havent lost all my baby weight yet I didnt want to go and spend money on something I wont be wearing more than twice so I went down to find something nice and simple to wear to an interview tomorrow. Found a really nice navy blue long sleeve shirt that actually still has the new tag on it. Went to the counter and it had no price tag only for the lady to come back and tell me its $9. I left it. Turns out Kmart has brand spanking new ones even nicer for a whole $12. Now considering Kmart has to buy their apparel to sell it but the OP shops are given almost everything, I was very diappointed at their charge rate for their items! I wont be going back.

Don't waste your time.The 3 ladies volunteering here are so rude and make you feel so uncomfortable for being there.They were extremely unkind to my family and complained about our 3 year old son for looking at the toys.Will never be back.

Have just revisited this shop after not being there for a number of months, and found it is definately not as good as it used to be. Lady there kept calling me love" and asked me several times if she could help

I have had the same experience as Marti Fordyce. if the sign on the door says you close at 4:45pm that's when it should be not 4:30pm you wouldn't see any other store in retail doing this.. and the ladies being rude about it, it's not on!! it just makes me not want to shop there.

A little bit expensive somtimes but I found some stuff I love

A sometimes eye-wateringly expensive op shop - from decent quality clothes to VHS tapes, you can bet the price tag will be out of this world. This is another that suffers from pricing that reflects how much a name is recognised by a volunteer on any one day, leading to vastly disproportionate prices on stuff no one cares about (John Farnham records; tapes of any kind).

High strike rate for leather, retro, brass, handmade, and one-off. Real stuff
