Worth the drive from any direction. Recommend a 4WD or decent suspension., typical state forest roads not to bad going along the tracks as far the camping area definitely recommended very rustic with hot showers bring your own BBQ

Lovely campsite.Toilets and showers are kept clean.So close to the river for a swim or if you have kayaks or anything like that it would be amazing around the water. You can hire stand up paddle boards.Pet friendly.Well kept campsite.

First time staying here and absolutely loved it. Owners were great hosts. Cost was $15 pp per night. Very open camp sites with plenty of grass. Easy access to water from our site too. We had porta loo access with hot showers not too far away.

Campground itself was kept tidy, grass nice and green and mowed.Level sites high and low sides.Amenities not kept clean, portaloo not working and contents full to seat.Amenity block smelly and showers need updating, holes in wall let cold air in.Rubbish bins overflowing.For $15 per person I would think at least amenities would be clean.Close to 4wd tracks and lovely scenery.Lots of bird life and wildlife.

What a great place. Busy though. Lots of 4wd and some trail bikes but rules apply to stop fast driving in the camp. Very close to the river and trees for shade. It has shelters with water tanks too

Absolutely love this place. Dirt bikes can be noisy breaking the peaceful silence. Right on the Clyde River. Bush is coming back strong after recent fires. Plenty of 4wd tracks to test you on too. Very grassy camp-site and very open spaces.

Shallow Crossing Camping Ground
We have camped here a few times over the years, however unfortunately this recent trip was disappointing. The bathrooms were poorly serviced, unclean and did not have toilet paper restocked for a few days.
