Thoroughly disappointing... beautiful location, but our family stay was completely ruined by a very rude and disgusting host. Spoke to our young daughter like garbage. Absolutely terrible customer service that does not deserve the business. Find somewhere else.

Great spot for a stop over from Melb to Adel,basic & nothing fancy but clean & tidy.Also a quick walk to the Barn for a steak & beverage.Loved hearing the wild life at night especially the kookaburras.

We loved our stay here. It is a beautiful property with gorgeous little chateaus situated on it, they are closer together than they appear but you still maintain privacy. We unfortunately didn't get to meet the hosts over the weekend but that wasn't an issue either, they left us an informative check in notice and provide an informative manual. The place was clean & tidy, the beds (which are upstairs) were really comfortable, the bathroom clean & tidy, providing a nice sized spa bath, shampoo & conditioner aswell as soap & plenty of towels etc, the kitchen also clean & tidy with everything you need, including a microwave, kettle, toaster, electric frypan, pots & pans. We took advantage of the fold out lounge/bed in the lounge area whilst relaxing in front of the fire. It's only 10 minutes away from Mt Gambier so easy to go for a meal or exploring. I highly recommend for a beautiful return to nature.

I recently had a wonderful stay at this amazing place! One of the standout features was the host's exceptional availability. Whenever I needed assistance, they were readily available and extremely helpful. Additionally, the chalet itself was impressively clean and tidy, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The room I stayed in was also clean and well-maintained. The only minor drawback I experienced was the inconsistent internet speed, which occasionally proved to be a bit flaky. Nevertheless, overall, my stay was enjoyable, and I would highly recommend this place for its excellent host, cleanliness, and inviting ambiance.

Advertised Wifi included but in reality there is no fixed internet access at all. Combined with being located in a 4G black spot was unable to do any work or keep the family online whilst on our holiday. The Mt Gambier area is amazing, the external of the Clarendon property was lovely, however the interior of the cottages are in need of a refresh.

We stayed in magnolia chalet which could have been cleaner. Gardener came early and used power tools which was noisy, then started small fires around the unit. I know grounds need to be maintained but not where guests are staying. Owner even poked her head in the door to advise we shut bathroom window due to smoke. Couldn't sit outside to admire the view or walk the grounds. Couldn't connect to wifi and poor reception.

Only a few things missing, such as a clock radio. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful and relaxing! Don't take your phone! Really enjoy yourself with out interruptions!

the house -magnolia house we lived is neat and comfy with well equipped kitchen. the host living nearby is very nice and helpful. the premise is a 15 acres land with several houses, trees, grass, chickens, rabbits. love this peaceful beautiful place
